Had a tranquil and relaxing get away last weekend disappearing from the city into the countryside. Also was a great opportunity to exercise my photo skills and getting to grips with my new camera. Freaking love my #Canon5dMarkii , dont think I’ll ever turn back!

Super exited to be starting a new project branding a brewery and craft beers. Been waiting for an opportunity to do something bigger than a brand for a while now so very excited for everything this involves! Whole new field of design to explore and research means I finally get to make use of my Eat Me book. The creative cogs are turning... 💡

Had a tasty treat yesterday evening tagging along to #ThreadThursdays to hear the amazing Hattie Newman and Hey Studio talk about their work, style and general awesomeness. Totally inspired and excited for my next few weeks of work as I leave Sponge and tackle creative life in Bristol, where ever that may take me!

Had a wonderful weekend away with friends last weekend. Nice once in a while to forget about reality and escape. Also got the opportunity to test out my new photo gear- can tell it’s going to take me a while to get my head around it. One of the reasons I love photography so much is being able to capture the things people sometimes miss. This was a very bland, muddy, drizzly walk but I found so many beautiful details.

So around 4 weeks ago I made the move up to Bristol and man, I love this city. Only recently found the time to explore this place and I fall in love with it a little more every time I explore. Made the good decision to visit the harbour last friday evening and caught an awesome sunset as well as discovering a hidden gem of a cafe. Looking forward to many more exploration days to come!

So three weeks ago I packed up and moved to Bristol! This is my third week of living and freelancing in Bristol, and wow, I love this city! Very blessed to still be working for Sponge UK up here, and really excited to get involved in some networking and attend some design talks in the coming weeks.

Great way to start the new year. Not been doing much photography these past few months so took this beautiful winters day as an opportunity to get out and photograph. Completely forgot how much I enjoy documentary photography and even the editing process... maybe my new years resolution should be to remember to nurture my creativity!

Great day photographing afternoon tea set ups for Plymouth’s Fashion in the City in September. This wonderful cafe, Rumpus Cosy, is such a treat to even be in, beautifully decorated and wonderful food and drink. Plymouth’s little gem!

Earlier this week I was collaborating with designer Owen Jones and photographer Isabelle Luscombe to make the creative for Fashion in the City, Plymouth’s fashion event in September. We sourced the latest trends and clothing from shops in Drake Circus for the visuals.

Taking some time out after the long slog of finishing third year and powering through various graduate show events. Still another show and more freelance work after these two weeks, but for now I’m fully enjoying relaxing and soaking up the culture of the Netherlands. Today I visited Amsterdam and couldn’t help photograph the great typography on shop windows.

Delighted to be graduating my degree with a First. What an absolute adventure this has been. Cannot even compare myself to who I was as a person and a creative when I started studying at the college of art five years ago. I gave so much effort into finding out what I loved and what I was good at, which has made uni the most fun and rewarding experience I’ve ever been a part of. I am so excited for what’s next. Already been so blessed with opportunities. Here’s to the future!
