This is crazy big hockey news. Will this keep Larkin in Detroit? I have a feeling that Yzerman wasn't going to give in to Larkin's trade request and Larkin wasn't budging on his request to go. I don't know if Larkin, now that Yzerman's out, still wants to leave Detroit or if he only wanted to leave Yzerman's Detroit. Guess we'll see how the new GM handles the situation and whether that leads to Larkin staying.

Well you're better than me because I do in fact judge. 🫢 I think a lot of what happened around here is that after the recent exodus of the OG normies, there was a vacuum taken up by the pervs and tinhatters. I stay out of the tag now and only follow a couple of people. Why must every hockey player in the league be f*ing everybody under the sun? Including their childhood best friends. Or shipping people with people's parents! My gawd! Wtf! Sorry, have to vent anonymously for a moment.

So that said, there's a lot of fans who have really great informative blogs and I stay for that.

Thank you for sharing! I do ship WillMack, but I also really care about the hockey. The sexual conjecture and discourse can just be a lot for me sometimes. I do have tags blocked, but it's not a catch all. This is my first summer between seasons, and it's just been...a lot. 😅

Doom/divorce/“they haven’t been seen together lately, so now they must hate each other” discourse

Pictures of them as babies/kids. This one just feels strange to me personally, but ymmv.

Assigning them gender-normative roles, like deciding one is inherently the “masc” one and the other is the “fem” one

Spent all day watching signings and trades on Puckpedia and missed what seems like a lot of high emotions if my dash is anything to go by. As for me, after letting it all marinate, I'm still Sharks down and have decided to just adopt the Nurse Shark into the circle bc why the hell not. 😂🩺🦈

You only like one of them solely based on their hockey and aren't interested pairing them with anyone → stay with their name as a tag and block pairing tags (and just maybe you'd find your people from somewhere other than Tumblr)
