Nothing's Sure

Dustin: nodded "Sorry I never did anything about it before." He was scared at messing everything up his friendship with her, her friendship with Cassidy, hurting Cassidy, getting hurt and now none of that really mattered. "You think we could pull one over on your brother like that?" He chuckled.

Allison: smiled at him softly. "Hey, don't apologize. Everyone gets their chance to experiment with relationships, you know? It's what we're all still doing." she said, her eyes connecting with his. She chuckled softly at his joke, "I don't know, he's so wrapped up in everything else, I doubt he'd notice." she joked with him. "In all seriousness, since the plan of turning you into a house pet isn't likely, we better make sure you have the best week of your life."

Dustin: let out a grin when she took his hand in her's now fully sure of her feelings for him and knowing what happened last night wasn't just a heat of the moment sort of thing. He took his other hand and placed it on her cheek as she talked and pulled her into a kiss when she finished. Finally pulling back with a smirk on his face he said "But I wouldn't get to do that if I hadn't." He'd be much happier forgetting he was moving in a week. "Can't your family adopt me? I'd be a really good pet."

Allison: smiled softly when he placed his hand on her cheek as he spoke, her fingers tightening around his softly. When he leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, she quickly returned it, a soft smile on her face when she pulled away. "True, so maybe a little good will come out of this." she spoke softly. "We could try, you might have to get a tail to pass as a pet." she joked.

Dustin: scouted a bit to the side so Allison could have her space when she pulled up her covers not wanting her to feel uncomfortable. He looked at her slightly confused with what the first thing she said was, "Yeah, I guess." And the more he thought about it the more he realized she was right. He'd wanted more with her for a really long time, before he even noticed his feelings for her, now looking back on them it had been pretty clear, and now it was pointless. But he hadn't even known she had felt the same way. "You don't regret it though?" He asked.

Allison: laid her head gently against her pillow as she sat with him in silence. Though is was a comfortable silence, she felt the need to say something. When he suddenly spoke up, she looked at him with a soft expression on her face, reaching out to intertwine their fingers. "Hey, of course I don't regret it." she said, moving closer to him. "It's just that, when you leave, it's going to be a lot harder to let you go, as if it wasn't already hard enough."

Dustin: 's eyebrows came together looking at the girl who clearly had no idea what was going on right now trying to find a way to tell her. He knew sec was a touchy topic for her and he honestly couldn't believe they had just... But he saw the moment realization hit her pretty easily. "We, uh- We didn't do anything wrong..."

Allison: Allison sat up in bed, holding her blanket to cover herself. "No, I-I..I know we didn't do anything wrong, but..." she spoke quietly, trying to get her thoughts together and the right words out of her mouth. "This makes things harder for when you leave." she said, letting her head fall back hard onto the pillow.

Allison: felt someone shaking her shoulder softly, trying to wake her up. She sucked in a soft breath, indicating that she was fully awake now, before bringing her hands up to rub the sleep away from her eyes before opening them. She was instantly met with the sigh of Dustin's face, confused as to why he was in her bed. "Dustin?" she asked, softly.

Dustin: made a face running his hand through his hair again. "hey".

Allison: Allison just stared at him for a moment. "Why are you here? Is everything okay?" she asked, the only reason she assumed that he was in her bed so early in the morning was that something was wrong and that he needed to talk to her, until the thoughts began to come back. She looked down at her duvet cover which was shielding their bodies at the moment, and the idea popped in her head. "Oh no..."

Dustin: ran a hand through his hair and took a huff of air in before once more doing what he was dreading. He placed his hand on her shoulder this time shaking her slightly.

Nothing's Sure

Dustin: woke up arching his back to stretch the way he did most mornings before realizing there was a weight on his shoulder. His head snapped to the side to see what it was and finding Allison's face made his eyes widen. He wasn't home. No, this was definitely her bed, in her room, on the second floor of her house. The house he had climbed just last night and came grunting to about his breakup and having to move away next week. For a second he wondered if he should leave but he knew that was wrong. His hand reached over to the girl's face moving a strand of misplaced hair out of her face waking her up with an Allison and a gulp unsure of what her reaction would be.

Allison: Allison had been sleeping pretty peacefully, until she heard the soft call of her name. Allison was an extremely light sleeper, so just the soft whisper was enough to wake her up. All though she was awake, she didn't want to be, so she softly shook her head before adjusting it slightly, trying to slip back into the peaceful slumber she was in before. She knew that it was Dustin's voice calling her, but she wasn't fully awake and therefore wasn't able to put two and two together to even question why he was in her bed.
