Owed bust artwork!

An owed bust for LordMarble on Instagram! This lovely fella is a Leaf/Silk hybrid called Sakura. She was absolutely amazing to draw! The colours were so satisfying to apply :3

Tried around with my shading and lighting style a bit and absolutly love the result. I'll keep this glossy and shiny lighting style for now and refine it a bit more ^^

Also, little update on my end. I've been a bit inactive on my socials due to two big internships the past month. I do now have time again, so hopefully I can establish a proper posting schedule again and keep my pages more fed. Additionally, I am working on a huge scene right now! Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week or the start of next week. I'll share the finished piece here next ^^

The DUCK! 🦆 Your eyes don't fool you, I have drawn the duck again :3 It's been a long time since I last made art of them, besides some small little doodles on paper here and there. One of these doodles (slide 2) turned into this amazing fullbody of my favourite little mascot/avatar! I've had some duck references on my desktop open and it definitely boosted the anatomy! 😄 What do y'all think? Can we consider this a reference? 🤔 They have a symmetrical design and the bottom view of the wings is the same as the top view. Anyways, since my stash of art I could post is completely empty now, posts might take a few more extra days. I am still working on my owed queue and am as well still sending and writing applications. ART! >:3

Todays post includes a bust for that.sweet.tea on Instagram of their OC Icarus! This lovely fella here is a sea/sandwing hybrid and was so much fun to colour that I couldn't resist to add some shading and lighting experiments to the artwork :3 Basically just tried around with coloured shading and lighting by adding another layer and using this one option on ibispaintx to link back to the lower layer (with the shading) and was able to change the colour of the shading that way (no idea if my explanation makes any sense here, but I don't know what this option is called 😭). An idea I had for ages, but somehow always forgot to try out 👀 The results definitely speak for itself, cause look at this beautiful lighting and shading 😍 I'll keep experimenting with this in the future 😌

And on the second slide I have some OC headshot base fillers with my WOF base! Since the main post for the base and the examples has been posted, I figured you'll get these randomly added to posts whenever a new one is finished! Milletty and Nightfrost are the two on the top of the canvas and Hibiscus and Typhoon are the two on the bottom. More soon, once the first batch of hybrids are drawn! Delphy, Coral freeze and Milky Way are on the list :3

My contribution to Valentine's Day or how I call it: My excuse to make some ship art of my lovely beans! 🥰 We just ignore the fact that I am two days too late, ok? 👀

I rarely do ship art and if I draw my couples, it's most definitely this one specific couple 🌈❄️ But not this time! It was time to give my beloved two girls the spotlight for once! 🌌🌊

Left we have Tenebra featuring me experimenting a bit with her design. Gave her star patterns on her wings and absolutely love the look of it! And on the right we have Wisp, princess of the SkyValley! For her, I did actually add a little extra to her wings too! Only on the outside tho. I find it quite interesting how such little details can make a design even more beautiful than it already is! 🥺

Anyways, the two are a couple and will eventually rule the SkyValley together after Ducas storyline has passed and Tenebra finally found someone who she was feeling save and happy around (other than her family of course). The two are such a cute couple and I am again reminded I should draw them more often...or maybe finally work on Tenebras ref 😂

Have a sweet little prince for today!

Look it this absolute adorable fella here from the_bugs_areinthe_soil on Instagram! This cute little seawing prince here got a bust page from me as payment for an adopt :3

I couldn't resist and finish up the other two sketches of this page here, cause I was in a mood to draw seawings recently. The results are absolutely adorable and my favourite got to be the baby rattle :D For that, I tried around with how to implement movement more into the artwork. Not sure if the technique I used will stay for future artworks, but I am extremely happy with it 😃

The owed art grind is back on track and I hope I can soon show you this one particular huge artwork I've been working on for over a year now. It's gone through some redraws, but at the end I stuck with the second background and sketches I made, so hopefully the next steps won't take so long 🥴

Frayn and Lumina 🌕🔥

Today we have a lovely little interaction between Lumina and Frayn. Lumina is skeptical of the little moonlightphoenix, which is following her around constantly like a puppy following its mother! My firedragon girl has absolutely no clue why or even really what Frayn is at that time. Frayn on the other hand seems oddly drawn towards her. Alokit isn't much of a help here either, cause he simply refuses to answer Lumina any of her questions regarding Frayn. Probably cause he doesn't really know much else besides the fact that Frayn stayed with his family for the past 15 years.

And that's all info I will drop on this :3 Anything more would be spoilers for book 2 and we don't want this ^^

Anyways, I had a ton of fun drawing my lovely two girls together for the first time! As you might already guess, Frayn has a pretty big role in my story and will appear during book 2. She's a loyal little creature and loves landing on the heads of the dragons she trusts. Tho, the little diva does absolutely hate it, if you try to pet her! That's something only Lumina is allowed to :3

It's finally time to post my headshot base set! I wanted to make a base for the canon WOF tribes for a while, so I can finally get a little system in on how to draw all of them :3

And cause I don't wanna gatekeep these for myself, have free base :D

Does someone know where I can get a tutorial to make this base into a puzzle base, which you can then basically puzzle together like one of these old browser character makers?🤔

Basically the idea is, you select what head shape you want and then add the traits you want. Once done, you can download the finished puzzled together base, ready to colour.

Would love to upgrade this, if I find out how to make this option.

Today I wanna share the rest of my ArtFight drawings with you!

First, we my favourite Revenge of this year! It’s for Splattap of their lovely ocean drake Slenesk. The highlight of this artwork is for sure the lighting and shading of the background and character in this underwater scene! Personally, I think this is my best water scene so far :3

Second, we have a Mass Attack! Or better said an Attack on scrapkatt and a Revenge for AmethystFell :D

The lovely cat is called Cherry Berry and belongs to scrapkatt. I love how this drawing turned out! I do struggle with cats so seeing how I slowly but surely manage to get better at drawing their anatomy is really amazing ^^

On the other hand, we have AmethystFells character Lauss! A raincutter from the HTTYD series. I have so far only drawn Furies and not many to be fair, so I specifically picked this lovely bean to practice. The result definitely speaks to itself and I am super proud of how well I was able to translate the anatomy into my artstyle :D

Thirdly, another cat character :3 Practice was my main goal for ArtFight so of course I was eager to draw another feline. This one here is called Sparky and belongs to Wheatandtoes. Love the result of this Attack, especially the face and paws! I struggle with those the most, so seeing the progress shine through here is again a big positive!

And last but not least, another Revenge for Ghostfire137 of their absolutely gorgeous Skywing Harpy! I specifically wanted to draw this bean here, because of the design. I do love simple yet unique looking designs and this bean here certainly checks the boxes :3

And with that all said, this was all of my 10 artworks I managed to finished during ArtFight 2025! (Well…actually, I do have another one, but it is only partially finished. I wanna finish it up after my owed queue) I am eager to see how many artworks and what kind of artworks I will manage to draw during my second ArtFight. For AF 2026 I wanna focuse a bit more on scenes and lighting/shading, since those are two big chunks I wanna progress further in 2026. We’ll see how well this will go :3

And now off I go into my little artist hole and work on owed art ^^

ArtFight revenges!

The first of y'all who attacked me this year was _chaaken_ on Instagram! They drew a real lovely bust of my raptor Mystic. In return, I drew their sweet dragon OC Flint! I loved working on this fullbody, cause the pose was super fun to work with. My favourite part of it is definitely the wings and the spiral pattern on it. Probably the main reason why I choose this pose :3 I experimented a bit with the shading as well, tho just a little bit by adding this darker parts on the outer limbs. Looks quite nice and I'll use that little detail more often from now on 😊

Second slide is Anthias, a beautiful Seawing owned by jewel_art.and.co on Instagram ! They drew a cute bust of Satab, so off I went making a bust for them in return ^^ And I can say, what a sweet design to work with! It had the perfect mix of simplicity and complexity. Those are super fun to colour, cause you can both relax with the simple parts and go back to testing around with the more complex features to get the best results 🤗

All I can say, the lovely two fellas were absolutely amazing to draw and I am super happy how bot turned out :3

Artfight revenges!

This time I got two revenges for you! :3

First one is Alex, the quetzalcoatlus. He is owned by maewennleveque on Instagram I bookmarked this character and wanted to make an attack featuring this fella here, but maewennleveque was quicker XD Anyways, I had to draw this lovely fella! His design is neat and since my main goal for ArtFight is to expand the variety of creatures I can draw, Alex seemed like a good first pick to try around 🤗 I do love the pose and the simplicity of this fullbody! I am super proud of it, so hope you like it ^^

Second we have a revenge for almostgotflushedbutidrew on Instagram featuring their dragon character Cendaresa! The lovely bean was a lot of fun to work with! I do love making art for simple designs, cause there I actually try around way more than with complex characters. It's odd, I know, but somehow it helps give me a bit of a push to try around. Specifically shading and a bit of lighting in this case! I used my usual shading style and added an additional layer to it, to get a sort of gradient for the colours to it in-between the shading. Same for the lighting. I like the result and will try around more in my next drawings :3 Anyways, I think the bust turned out lovely! What do y'all think? 😁

Lots of art!

Today I got a good old art dumb for you! I had no idea I haven't posted these here yet. Some are from March!

So let's get started! :3

Bust number one features @ // canter.craft.creates' s (from IG) OC Gremlin! I drew this lovely red bean with the wing ears in March for an adopt payment. I still love this angle and pose!

Second artwork is my character Dexter! This lovely fella is quite the interesting case! I got them a while ago from another creator, who adopted them from someone else. I am the fifth owner of the fella and so have basically no info on what species they belong to XD So I decided time to sort this out and make him a raptor anthro creature! And that's how we ended up with this headshot :3 I cannot tell much more about him, but he joins my story project currently titled "Anthro gang". Either it's going to be a cheesy high school drama of some teens founding a band or a murder mystery with lots of plot twists! So total opposite story ideas XD Let's see which one at the end will be more fun :3

And for the the last five images, we have some refs for my Whirlwing characters! Dustfall is a Sand/Whirlwing hybrid and an old lady. I got her headshot design from @ // lordmarble on IG Endertaker was designed by @ // IrishMelon on IG Steamwalker is number three of the Whirlwing Refs and I got her from @ // dawnixxi on IG Then we have Winterstar, who I designed myself after I got a rare MYO ticket :3 And last but not least: Wüstenwind! @ // niko_draws_too_much on IG designed them and I got the bean later on via an art offer

Some headshots I made a while back :D

These four lovely beans here were the result of a little game on Instagram that I held a few months ago. The task was to request the next tribe I should draw for a free headshot base set! It has since then been completed (unless you wanna request some hybrids. Those are open on my Toyhouse! As a little prize for this game, the winner won either a headshot drawing of their OC or a headshot custom on the base :D

So here are the results ^^ First image features a beautiful Rainwing custom I made for @ // ceoofshelldon from Instagram. I absolutely adore the colours of this fella here and the necklace! Truly one of my favourite designs I made so far!

Second is a Hivewing custom for @ // motteneule_draws from Instagram. A more simple design as they requested. I love this brown colour palette a lot. These warmer tones are really nice :3

Third and fourth slide headshots for @ // maewennleveque on Instagram who requested me to draw Nyx and Incinerius Mortirius. Two characters that were super fun to work with!

I have plans on making some of these fun games here too in the future, so stay tuned! My next base set that I'll be working on are the fullbody WOF tribe bases (cause my children need refs!). With those, there will either be a custom on the base or - you can probably already guess it - a fullbody of a character of your choosing :3

First two ArtFight attacks!

Long time no see, right? I've been quite busy with ArtFight in July and didn't really have time to post at all. Only my IG really got fed with a bit of art during the month. It's quite interesting to see, my motivation to draw has finally returned, thanks to ArtFight, but my motivation to post is as low as possible. So please excuse any delays in posting :)

Anyways, back to topic :D The first character is called Celare and belongs to @ // niko_draws_too_much on IG! I was just going through my hit list if people I want to attack and saw this fella here and instantly got the idea of a snake hanging from a tree. I don't have snake OCs, but I wanted to draw some snakes for a while now, cause why not. So perfect opportunity spotted and instantly started on day 1! 😁

Second character is @ // ghostfire_draws's (from IG) Sea/Nightwing called Chimaera. I've had them bookedmarked before ArtFight started, so this fella here was my first attack. Wanted to start with something simple and nice, so a bust it was 😄

I don't have anything new to post besides the ref sheets I am currently making, so have these two :3

We have Satab and Duca here! Two characters who couldn't be more different from each other. Not only are they design vise polar opposite, their characters in particular don't have anything in common either. It's quite funny, cause Duca is actually similar to Toxident, but evil!

Well, at least they have one thing in common: both are grumpy individuals living their lifes! And both now officially have a ref sheet :3

So off I vanish again into the void to create more ref sheets. Next post will be my ArtFight card :D

Happy Pride Month y'all!

Three weeks in and I finally finished this artwork! Kinda funny how it's always Toxident in my pride posts, but considering that he is both pangender and pansexual, it's probably because I relate to him the most :3

Anyways, my beloved fish is accompanied by his two boyfriends Zeedrian and Dokation!

On the left we have the hyperactive Thunderstorm dragon Dokation or short, Kai. He is gay and soulmates with Zeedrian. The two were previously in a relationship till they eventually agreed on asking Toxident out and making their relationship into a poly relationship.

In the middle we have the one and only Toxident! Toxi spent quite a while being super confused about his sexuality and gender identity. This and his struggle to find someone he truly loved and wanted a relationship with brought him quite the hard time. It eventually were Zee and Kai who opened his eyes on what he truly wanted! And on the right we have the fiery and grumpy Hellfiredragon Zeedrian with a big, soft heart hidden behind his stern outer shell. My boy is polysexual :3

He was the first of the two to ask Toxident out! Zee is more of the outgoing type of personality, which is quite funny cause he struggled to ask Kai out when they started dating. He definitely became more confident after that.

A little warning for all the trolls and LGBTQ-phobes: Any hate towards the LGBTQ community will be deleted and blocked!
