Random Au idea; Miraculously, the Blip-A crew survive, but at the cost of their travel time, making it so they arrive at Tau Ceti around the same time as the Hail Mary. (Don't think too hard about it)

Grace now gets regularly hassled by many Eridians, all of whom can hold multiple conversations at once, unlike him.

Naturally, opinions about the local wet organful thang Tau Ceti dragged in are varied

HELLOOO!! Yeah no idea. I envisioned the crew to be astronauts, so they were definitely sent there to do SOMETHING, but it got quickly derailed by THE BIG GIANT ALIEN AT OUR WINDOW. I'd say that's an important research point anyway!!!

I'm really bad at coming up with names (it's 100 or nothing,) but I've decided the second biologist I mentioned in the last post is named Pancake.

Their carapace has a flat and layered coloration that makes them look like a stack of pancakes, have a shorter leg they've chipped rather badly as a pebble/kid, and their remaining legs are quite long! They actually get quite tall by Grace standards when they completely stretch out their legs. I also like to think they hang out around Grace quite a lot, those two love to talk science lmao.

I'm trying to make all the eridians I've drawn so far at least somewhat distinct but ngl I'm SO bad at being consistent. Oh lord. Please forgive me guys
