I may bring back a few f/os I had in the past, but if the character is not on my f/o list (on my strawpage), please don't bring them or the self ship up. A few past f/os are triggers for me now and I want to distance myself from them and their franchises/fandoms. Others I just need a break from for the time being.
BYF: I jump around to multiple fandoms and characters at random, so this blog is not really a fandom blog for any franchise. I draw whatever I’m in the mood for. So keep that in mind when following for a specific fandom or character.
you can always change. you realize that, right? if you feel stuck and stagnant, and you aren’t proud of who you are, you can change that. the world is not that serious and things are constantly growing and changing. i mean, think about it: the trees change every season; 4 times a year. you can do that, too.
at any point, you can change and grow into someone you are proud of.
I just want to know if I’m alone in this or not. I’ve sorta dropped a decent amount of potential f/os and f/os to “keep people happy” while I was sorta risking my own happiness in the process. :’D👍🏻
Ended up drawing something to vent I guess. With a lot of my f/os, I feel Scratch would understand the feeling of loneliness and being paralyzed by fear the most that even during the worst days, he would understand.
But also the whole theme of this ship is being seen at your worst and still loved. And I’m pretty sure Scratch had his fair share of rough nights regretting so many missed opportunities and believing he didn’t deserve anything good before eventually giving up the ghost.
Sorry for disappearing. I’m still taking it easy, mostly been dealing with burnout right now. I’m doing a little better emotionally, but my anxiety is causing me to isolate a bit. But I wanted to update folks just in case.
People on Tumblr love sharing information about themselves no matter how asinine it is. And I'm the same way. Everybody tell me what the last thing you drank was.
Anyway this disability pride month I would like to shoutout disabled folks whose creativity has suffered because of their condition. I’m talking people with hand tremors and pain that stop them from drawing, knitting, and playing instruments. People whose thinking has become so disorganized that nothing they write makes sense to other people. People with chronic pain who can no longer dance. People so over medicated in a fruitless attempt to maintain stability that the wells of their imagination have run dry.
I see you and I love you. You are more than your creative output. You are not a shell of what you used to be. You are a whole, complete person, regardless of what your creativity has been, is now, or will be in the future.
