Poisoned was a rude way of putting it. Really though, Seychelles had absolutely no idea the chocolate was spiked with some kind of personality altering drug. She'd noticed it tasted off, of course, but in the terms of realizing there was something horribly wrong with it..? She was clueless! "Really?!" She simply didn't understand why she felt thrilled at his acceptance. Normally she would have felt like punching him for being so rude toward her kindness. Normally she hated him. Oddly, she got a bit flustered after a few seconds of pondering on it and just decided to hold out the open box of chocolates before he changed his mind.
"Yo-You should be nicer when I'm giving you something from the heart.." In a friendly way, she thought. The most she knew about this holiday was that people give chocolates in people they liked, and what kind of like, she simply assumed was a friendly like. Romance was an unstudied subject in her brain.
If she even knew what it was. Even so, she still felt embarrassed giving chocolates to somebody she hated. In a friendly way or not, it still implied she had 'nice' feelings toward him.. which she certainly didn't! And she was right back to questioning why she was giving him some in the first place.. From the kindness of her heart, maybe? He probably wasn't getting chocolate from anybody else, after all. That's what it was. That's what it had to be.
