[ july 19, 2026 : the day a miracle was born ]

12:00 — i asked you to trust me just this once. after plenty of whining, you let me tie the blindfold over your eyes anyway. one careful step after another, i guided you outside, reminding you not to peek every few seconds no matter how much you complained. when we finally stopped, i placed a homemade coffee jelly parfait into your hands, a single candle flickering quietly on top. i knew a birthday cake was never going to be your favorite, so i made something that suited your tastes instead. “if you don’t want the whipped cream . .” i whispered, “then i’ll eat it for you, easy peasy.”

She held out the spoon with a surprising amount of determination, as if she were physically restraining herself from taking the bite herself. “So . . first bite?”

Harumasa leaned in, then paused just before the spoon, looking up at her instead. “. . You’re really not going to eat it first?”

“It’s your birthday.”

“. . You practiced saying that, didn’t you?”

She turned her head away from him, guilty.

“Maybe.”

He laughed quietly before finally taking the bite.

“You did surprise me.”

i still love the idea of sugishita with a partner who’s the complete opposite of him. very sweet and very upfront with their affections <3 also enjoys calling him by sickly sweet pet names that others could never dream that he would respond to much less like

shiba with a companion who doesn't have sorcery but an ability inherent to their bloodline, not unlike char or hakuri's ice girl.

they can see moments throughout the day, guaranteed happenings, usually twenty or thirty seconds, sometimes a minute. usually inconsequential. usually random. more sure and more concise than princess soga, whose premonitions are possibilities and likely outcomes rather than a sure reading of time, limted to one or two people and only ever as far as a day.

he grows used to them, their accommodations for him. making sure he leaves with an umbrella or a certain snack, maybe with some extra cash or a "lucky" item. small things. little spoken hints without revealing themselves to be just that in the moments they are uttered. beyond always returning to them, he never verbally acknowledges what's been done.

and then there's a larger instance of foresight for the day.

instead of a minute, it's five.

they see their death, but they also see shiba able to save everyone else through the application of malediction through tokyo. so they say nothing.

shiba doesn't know until he returns to an empty apartment, the only thing out of place being a note left on the table.

I was missing my favorite pirate so I figured it was time to get a new comm! This was done by votaa from vgen!

nanapersgo + tan lines

persie: tans very easily. has bikini tan lines (front side is more prominent than backside since i tend to lay on my back in the sun). gojo and nanami both like them very much. also has slight sandal tan lines. has a faded sock tan that’s barely noticeable.

gojo: typically gets burnt to a crisp but then his burn fades into a tan. has a slight sunglasses tan (skin around his eyes is lighter than the rest of his face). definitely has a shorts tan that cuts through the thick of his thigh (hot).

nanami: susceptible to burning but very diligent about putting on sunscreen and staying in the shade. his tan gradually develops over summer. has a very prominent watch tan (gojo and i like to tease him over it). has a bit of a farmer’s tan, the line lays over the middle of his biceps (gojo and I like to drool over it). also has a shorts tan similar to gojo, but i think the line would be lower than gojo’s, closer to the space above his knee.
