How to Remove Pet Hair from Clothing

Once you have the pet hair in your home relatively under control, focus on getting it off—and keeping it off—your clothing.

1. Pre-treat Before washing, toss items that have pet hair on them into the dryer and set it on heat-free, tumble only, for ten minutes.

2. Wash Shake out clothing, then place in washer and wash as usual. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the machine to help loosen pet hair.
