Thankyou *screaming in the universe* for being the most amazing bold opinionated kind generous lioness in this industry and the world. ❤️ there is genuinely no one like you and you have given me strength when I needed it the most. I was bullied and slut shamed by the whole university in my undergrad for something I didn’t do. A boy manipulated my batch mates my seniors and anyone you could know. I was 700kms away from my home, living in hostel and all the girls used to eye me. I had a small room in hostel literally small and I stayed there for weeks, didn’t went out, didn’t even attended the classes. I used to wake up at 5 am to bathe so no one would see me. I used to run to bathroom from my room so no one noticed me largely I don’t see anyone.It was 2014 and 1989 had just released, I used to listen to the songs and cry on the floor, I’ve gone without opening lights of the room or the curtains because I could hear them calling me out. No senior helped me after that In studies, I couldn’t tell my parents as they were miles away and I didn’t want them to be worried. My 2 friends sneakily called me to a place and there was the guy and some more guys and they left me there,guyscalled me names, laughed on me, told me to never show face to anyone, and I never knew this was planned by my “friends” when I helped them so much, my “friends” told everyone that I lie and shouldn’t be trusted. After listening to this line “10 months sober I must admit” & sobbing to it endlessly, one day I stepped out cut my hair really short and attended all my classes keeping my head high& earphones always in my ear 1989 in my ears. It was hard at first but then I got courage, I used to see your interviews on YouTube, & I painted, followed some Instagram pages, went out alone to the city to take myself on a coffee date and bought a novel too. ❤️

Hi @taylorswift I wrote this to you quite some time back, on the occasion of #5Yearsof1989 I want to tell you Thankyou, your strength and words gave me hope when I was hopeless battered bruised and I had no one. Literally. This album is sooo soo special to me, It was this moment when I felt we were similar. The lines “people like you always want back the love you have away and ppl like me wanna believe you when you say you’ve changed” was so true n exact for someon I met. And it was horrible. Worst. I’m just glad I had you 💛
