Folklore winning Album of the Year and nothing else makes sense in a twisted way because it was never about any of the individual songs, it was always about the entire project and the mystical world it all allowed us to escape to during this awful time period in human history and it being recognized with the biggest award an album can receive in music just seems very fitting

the fact that taylor’s first instinct when telling her label about folklore was to defend what she made because of all the previous times she was questioned about her music and them being completely on board with it is absolutely what she deserves
