(I’ve been putting this off for so long…)

Hallo! We’re Aloe/Dumbassys/Das and we use they/she/it as a collective! We’re relatively small undiagnosed system with diagnosed ADHD/Anxiety, but happy to say hello!

I have the black box data. All of it.

After sifting through hundreds of photos... I have realized that every time Simon takes a photo in the SM-13, he's pulling up a frame to a stop motion animation.

And it can be played back as video.

So, I took each black box photo and compiled them together. You can now watch Simon's entire journey from the SM-13's camera like found footage.

You can also gain access to Simon's amazing photography portfolio from my master reference project, as well as the video for yourself.

Please, have a watch. It's terrifying. I feel like a C.O.I. lab tech delving into something I really shouldn't, and it's a blast!

wait I lowkey love this… crazy how there’s actually like. A whole path just for something that ends up being in the background a lot of the movie. That you can follow! Even when theres nothing notable on the camera, it’s not just some filler image, you can actually see Simon’s journey

also, I love that you can see when Simon gets more confident!!!! In the beginning the traveling is much slower, there’s more images for every few feet, but as it progresses, there’s a visible jump in images per feet. Because he’s traveling faster!!!! And the images aren’t taken constantly!!!!! God I love that detail…

I think possibly one of the reasons we take so long to write is because we try to be as accurate as possible….. which isn’t a bad thing other than the fact that we’re currently writing down all of Grace’s flashbacks in chronological order……
