Alolan Acerby Announcement!
I'm releasing my Acerby Kigurumi Mask 1.0 Files!!!!
I hadn't initially planned to release this since it's my first modelling project, but I was surprised by how many supportive comments I got. You can download and use them for free from Cults 3D.
The modular front crest, hood, and hairband can be exchanged with magnets!
Hair parts can be swapped using common ports
Lowerable Visor
Articulated type-C hair
Can clamshells open and securely close using screws and pegs. No need for latches or locks.
I've included just the .stl files and my Blender project because I encourage anyone who wants to improve on my designs (with credit, of course). I'd love to incorporate any feedback or updated parts into my eventual 2.0 version.
My only ask is that you let me see your cool builds!
An Acerby Kigurumi Mask for fans of the 30 Minute Missions and Sisters lines. This is intended to be a type-C, but I've designed this to be
I did set it to 'open priced' since someone asked me to, but you are under no obligation to pay for this. I'm in this for the love of the game, and you should be too.
I've been busy working on the rest of the body, but I've added the eyes since these pictures were taken.
Actually why do they have those arches in the sprue located exactly where the forearm would be... almost as if it was an intended feature...
co-op
3d printable gender affirming care for the price of free?????
How's the workon the mask going?
Pretty great! AcerBig!!!
1 is there a hisuian acerby?
There can be if you’re willing to ‘borrow’ parts
Oh shoot. Run!
Acerkig head is complete!
It’s shockingly light, and the sunglasses in the eyes mean I’ll be able to see out better than any other kig. (My real eyes are in the eyebrow slits, but I have peripheral vision!)
Here’s how the magnets hold the front great in place, you can actually position the visor a bit more up and down. Nor fully accurate but it gets the point across
Did a test run on myself and the gf. It rules! The hair kinda helps counterweight it.

Digital Circus finale, but Caine reveals the true identity of Disappearing Guy
Hi! So I recently started getting into girpla (currently working on Starflower Lily from Rosado, which is my... second kit ever) and while I'm mostly ok with handling the plastics and scalpels and sandpaper... I am absolutely terrified of waterslide decals.
I would like to put up decals on Lily, but due to lack of experience I'm afraid I'll fuck it up horribly. Why they don't provide a spare decal sheet in these things is beyond me...
Anyway! Do you have some tips and tricks, or tutorial videos you recommend? Or could you possibly suggest some cheaper kits which I can buy for practice? Thanks!
Well you came to the right place!
Personally I think that starflower lily is a pretty high level place to start with girlpla, though if you have more mecha modeling it might end up being a better starting point that most organic looking girlpla. If you want less expensive practice kits, try 30 minute sisters or lower end kotobukiya kits. Sisters is the least expensive option, and their newer kits have been improving in both price and quality.
Two tips before we get into decal time! Try getting your hands on a glass file. It’s faster and more consistent than sandpaper, and gets you that polished sheen, but it’s better on flat surfaces than organic curves. Second, if you want to cleanly remove seam lines on skin parts, use plastic cement liberally before squishing, and holding, the parts together. It chemically melts and fuses the pieces. If you do it right, a bit of excess plastic should squish out you can sand off for a perfect look. Plenty of online tutorials for this out there.
My flow for waterslides probobly isn’t the best, but I have a kettle or thermos of hot water on hand I pour into a tiny plate or ramekin. Cut the decal sheet so it’s just the part you want with a bit of extra room to hold with tweezers and dip it in. Use a q-tip/swab to gently poke it a couple seconds into soaking. It should be a bit loose. Don’t let it set for too long though. Pull it out, then touch it in the center and gently slide it off the sheet and directly onto the part. Smaller cutouts makes this easier. It should take some water with it, then micro adjust the position before the moisture dries and it’s locked in. Replace the water frequently so it doesn’t cool, and swap swabs so they don’t become soggy messes.
If you want to practice, try using a knife to lightly score the copyright text on the decal sheet and you can’t experiment using that on the runners or something. I have a Spinatio shogun type with the Bandai logo on its sword.
The truth is that you will screw up decals on your first few kits. That’s just life. There’s always going to be one or two that won’t look good. If you need to remove one in order to keep it symmetrical? Go for it. The real truth is only you will notice and eventually you’ll stop seeing it. Just make sure to seal it in with sealing spray/finisher because they will peel off in time or with handling otherwise.
Wow that was a lot huh? Hope it helps :)
hiiiii was wondering how the acerby kigu project was going? it was v cool!
I’ve been making progress! I modeled and printed a bracket for the hair. It uses two plates that sandwich two foam pieces for the hair. It’s got an attachment knob I found off the internet so I can attach it to the head whenever I want.
I realized later that the puzzle tiles I used were made of polyethylene and didn’t sand down the way I wanted. And I didn’t flip them when cutting from the cardboard template I made so the textures are mismatched. Oops. It’s a bit janky, but I’ll carry the lessons to the 2.0
I think the overall effect is good enough tho. Next step: cutting out the limbs!

It took much time to adjust the color palette.
Cleaning the line art too much, and overusing airbrush were also time consuming.

Media Thread 2026 Part 4
Part 3
CB4 - God, remember comedy movies??? A real riot end to end. The type of visual humor that has you speculating what the payoff of a repeated sight gag is going to be and joke density to rival the greats. We were, of course, waiting for the inevitable crossdressing gag to come, but we've been conditioned to expect a lot worse than we got. Not sure that's a good thing... 8/10
Gundam Hathaway II - Incredible theatrical experience, but streaming compression is going to murder the nighttime MS battles in this one. The type of thematically dense and ambiguous dialogue that had me debating with my better half for the rest of the day. The ED hit me like a sack of bricks regardless of how far in advance I knew it was coming. 9/10
Black Adam - This movie was ass but also maybe kinda good? There's elements of the type of superhero movie I like it here, but its too stupid to be good outside of two Domino's pizzas into a movie night with friends. All the cg has the look of AI generated slop in a way I can't articulate. -7/10
Record of Lodoss War - Absolutely gorgeous and the character designs deserve the logevity they've gotten, but I can't help but feel that capturing the feel of a tabletop game is a double-edged sword. can't say it was particularly compelling or paced. It does get points for being foundational elf-fucker media. 6/10
GOAT (2026) - Let it be known that for someone who doesn't like sports, I like a good sports movie. It's just a VERY well-animated sports family movie with great character design. Not breaking any molds, but very well made. 7/10
Destiny 2 {FINAL} - Dropping in for the final update felt strange and hollow. The game had changed too much to have retained any charm, yet not enough to see anything that felt new or worthwhile. Maybe it died when we had a last conversation with a sense of mutual finality, and what I see now is some kind of lesser thing that wastes in the same chair, allowing for context to build that bitters the memories. A game shouldn't make me draw parallels to my complex relationship with my dying grandfather. 3/10
The FP 2: Beats of Rage - A more consistent and singular iteration of the first film, that combines essentially every genre. Less slurs and better production values. A 'Hell Yeah' of a film. 7/10
Reefer Madness - Occasionally silly, but overall too flat to be riff-able. -4/10
Minecraft Ninja Turtles Movie - Who keeps letting machinema-slop onto Tubi??? How does it get here??? -3/10
There is no Antimemetics Division (SCP Audiobook form) - Man. All timer status. There were points where it could've executed a bit better, but I can see why this was published with the serial numbers filed off. 7/10
Star Trek into darkness - Years of nu-Trek have me wondering why this was so reviled at the time. A reheated, whitewashed and forced retread of one of the greatest star trek stories of all time feels pretty par for the course at this point. At least it has hype moments and aura between occasional well considered scenes, an enemy craft that is genuinely scary and Peter Weller wellering all over his scenes. It's dumb, but at least it's ACTUALLY fun, not just repeating gimmick episodes from different genres and expecting the audience to clap. 6/10
Deep Rising - ITs the kind of action film where everything plays out in the most satisfying way, with enough time for you to piece it together and get excited. Plant and payoff in service of what feels like a light-gun cabinet game. It is a bit noticeable that the diverse cast and gorgeous women are all whittled down to the three surviving white people. Hollywood used to be able to produce bad movies that were eminently watchable. Incredible stinger. -8/10
Battlestar Galactica S1 - I see why people got so attached to this, but I wish they would cool it with the shakeycam and constants attempts to sex-up scifi TV. I like it, I just wish it didn't poison the genre with its success for a while. 6/10
Feddie Scum Zeta - Perhaps a bit of a meandering season, but the highs were high, and the lows were still entertaining. Glad they took some real swings with character mortality and the romance angle. The Patreon bonuses had a decent hit-rate. I thank th show for getting me to start my long-time tabletop game, and would be fine if this is where it ended. 8/10
Hey hi where could one gind the files too print that? How much do i have to pay? who do i have to kill?
I made them myself! One hell of a first blender project...My plan is to give it a second pass with a list of improvements I've made during the printing process (and to hide some of my early amateur mistakes).
I'll likely post them somewhere for free once they're good enough. I'll include credit links to some of the projects I borrowed from (a basic kigurumi mask template and a twist attachment point.
I designed the project to be super modular. Just as modular as the real Acerbies! you should be able to swap out the front cowl, front crest, hairband attachment, and hair hardpoints without taking it off! My hope is that (with attribution) the community can build on my designs!
Acerby real!
Yes, it’s way over-engineered
The cowl and hair band part are held on with magnets :)
Photos from the first round of sanding and wood filler. I’m actually leaving round 2 out to dry atm. It’s actually pretty chill since I have some classic anime on an iPad while I work…
Gundam rogue orbit looks like they assembled a team of scientists to create a game that has the looks of ai generated result in a google search but also without any of the pesky ‘themes’ and ‘politics’ that got in the way of unlocking the franchise’s true potential. It looks like what I picture in my head for Anthem or any EoS’d live service game in the last 5 years
In reality it was probably a decent mecha game green-lit when AC6 was announced and hastily rebranded with a V-fin. It’ll probably have alright gameplay, but I don’t look forward to another spinoff embarrassed to look like anime, and marketed to techwear sneakerheads who try to flip MG Barbatos for 200 bucks on Facebook marketplace.
