Our Zine Reviews is a series of online interactive zine reviews with zinesters and zine collectors both locally and internationally. These will be ongoing commentaries with selected Zinsters on their zine collections/libraries. Each episode will form part of our online interactive activation, which has been inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic that the world is currently going through. Our live video chats will be hosted by Minenkulu Ngoyi, Co-founder/Director of Alphabet Zoo; and will take place for about 20 minutes, depending on the number of zines reviewed and discussed. Each session will begin with an introduction of the guest/zinester who will talk to you all through their publication or collection. Once that is done the discussion will be open to the public to interact by commenting and having a Q&A with the guest.
