Dixie held on to her alpha tightly. She didnât know if she would have the strength to ever let go. The week of worrying and fear had taken itâs toll on her. She didnât know if she would leave, or ever let him out of her sight again. She had been blessed that nothing had happen and that Rick had made her rest and eat often enough that she hadnât passed out or went into labor early. She looked up at him, âIâm so glad youâre home, everything else I can deal with but you being home, thatâs whatâs most important to me right now.âÂ
So small in his arms Isaac only felt extremely protective over the girl, even half asleep Isaac knew he'd do whatever it took to protect her. After he woke up he'd get to work on making a plan to get the cure. If it came down to playing dirty he'd do that too. He exhaled deeply and closed his eyes tighter. "If I wake up lost, don't let me out of the house. Okay? I can't afford to keep running off, okay?"
