the raptors are slightly rattled. he pushes the clicker in his hand and brings their attention to him. training them had been hard, but Owen was pleased with himself; Blue was the beta and she kept everyone else on their tail, under his control. Blue gaze breaks from the raptors to the side, seeing the reason why they were rattled and he releases them to get their food.“i thought considering your history, you wouldn’t want to set a foot here, man.“ he knows the man by name and face. Owen had been a big fan of Dr. Grant’s research and books, despite his last writings being very anti-dinosaurs. Though no one can blame the man. “You sure you are in the right place?”

“so yeah. things are going to be lot more complicated right now.“ how to break the news that dinosaurs are no longer contained to an island or a cage? to be honest, he is surprised that Zach’s parents even allow Owen to come close considering how he is one of the key guilty parties in releasing them. “might want to be a lot more careful while walking down the streets, kid.”

“I still don’t think it’s safe for her to be out there.“ and there is a short pause as he looks at the horizon. he doesn’t feel entirely good with what they did, the dinosaurs now released to the world, Blue amongst them. “a raptor is still something very dangerous. even more than a t-rex.” and he isn’t sure that the world is ready for this type of living. it’s not the same as watching over your shoulder for dangerous creatures. green eyes look back at Claire for a second. “I should go look for her.”

                      It’s a tough decision. One that not many might like, but as he heard about InGen’s plans of still trying to recreate the park and make more dinosaurs after the incident and how they were looking for Blue on the island, was enough to make the former caretaker to decide to go to preserve every animal on that island. His main focus; his last surviving raptor. “I’m going back to the island.”

It didn’t seem like she could, but Charlie could understand what Owen was saying somewhat as she leaned into his hand, closing her eyes as he caressed her chin. It was like her brain was almost human-like in the was she thought. Either that or those were just the normal raptor traits shining through. Extremely intelligent. Once Charlie was sure that she had his full attention, she squirmed a bit and hopped up in his lap. 

                    He cannot help to break a smile, all four raptors were growing at an amazing rate, and soon, they would no longer be able to be so casually sat on his lap (that and the fact that he might die if they try it then), Owen’s hand still keeps on Charlie’s chin to give the raptor what it wanted. She was after all, the youngest of the group, hopefully all of this would result in them not trying to eat him when the real training began. “You and your sister better behave, I’m not food. I’m the alpha here.” That was the point of all of this. "You hungry?”

But Charlie didn’t want to sleep. She wanted to play and like her sisters, she had grown rapidly attached to Owen over the past couple weeks since she had been born. She made a little chirping sound and came a little closer to her alpha, a look on her face that was just like a smile and nuzzled against his leg a bit.

        Eyebrow perked at the small chirping and just shakes his head. The others were easier to sleep but it seemed that Charlie wanted to play around. His hand stopped working on the bike to give her chin a small caress. “You are going to grown up to be spoiled, you know.” Owen is aware she can’t understand what he said (yet he hopes his tone is enough). But her pleading was enough for him to stop working. “Alright. You win.”

                            Owen was fixing his bike, all in quiet silence before he feels a pull on the hem of his shirt and a small pitch snarl calling from him. The now apparent alpha of four little deadly raptors just turned around to see one of the tiny (yet they were growing at a passing range) tugging on his shirt. “What? you should be sleeping with your sisters now.” He was allowed to keep them on his little land, they didn’t venture further into the wild. not yet anyways.
