I saw people making this argument and I'm still shocked. What are we confused about? How much more detail do you need in order to at least sympathize with Bolaire's plight? Do people need everything and every word that Thjazi used to destroy Bolaire?
And don't get me started on Thjazi's family and friends. They all brush aside what happened to Bolaire to their FACE and say it couldn't be that serious. Even Thimble acknowledged that Thjazi was cruel to Bolaire and she still tried to shush them when they pointed out how Thjazi ruined their life.
It makes the story so much richer and way more interesting, but to see people twist these nuances to be negative to a victim is crazy. I know comprehension is hard when everyone has the attention of goldfishes but if you make it a habit to watch at least a 3 hour long episode once a week for years, the least you could do is pay attention and understand what's happening on your screen.
I kinda get it. I think they have every right to feel how they do. Thjazi made them feel like less than a thing, a tool to be used and discarded when it was no longer useful. It would be hard to deal with that while everyone else treats you with some respect and humanity.
The Schemers found out and hadn't treated Bolaire with such animosity and dehumanization. So they know it's possible for others to accept the truth and not change how they treat them.
I also just really like the conflict that this brings amongst the players. I'm living for the drama and I can't wait to watch that unfold. Makes the story extra spicy.
