Happy new year!! Well, itās 2 days into the new decade but I was accumulating a lot of thoughts while making this summary of art for 2019 so here we are hoho.Ā
As far as progress goes, Iām glad I started doing finished things more often!! I feel like I also got a little better, but in a way Iām okay with it because I donāt feel as discontented looking at past art haha. I do feel like I havenāt produced much this year since Iāve been napping a lot. I hope to correct my sleeping habits someday orz I WANT TO COLOR MORE TOO

This year has me with mixed feelings?? I study in 3D thingies so I spend all my time before a computer clicking away and getting home, Iām just,,, very tired, but I always try to draw a bit because itās really just straight up fun, although even that still ends up making me tired
Iāve been reflecting on how I use social media and Iāve concluded that I really donāt post a lot(lol), Iāve recently broken through the 300 posts cap and Iāve been here since what? October 2016? All my respects go to yāall who can post daily tbh, youāre the true champs!!(how do you do it, give me your secrets lmao)
Anyways, Iām mostly about fandoms here, mainly otome with some FE, FF, Horror RPGs, seasonal anime and Hypmic sprinkled in once in a blue moon(although I HAVE been playing a lot of switch games recently...) but also I gotta remind myself that all of the content I make isnāt reflected in what I post. Mainly because I think too much before posting so my drafts are like, filled lmao, and tagging is long but thatās my fault because I donāt make that many personal posts so my life updates are powdered in there somewhat. And thatās all without counting the original content I do on the side. I know some people are more comfortable transitioning their pages from only fanart to more oc stuff, but I guess Iām just feeling good as it is, with only my profile pic changing. Oh, but if the day comes I ever do finish something I feel 10% confident in, I guess youāll have to deal with maybe 2 unannounced post and then back to regular agenda, so thatās not a killer thing I think, maybe itāll change, but not today, sirį( į )į
Iām also dangerously close to another milestone so might as well start thinking about a giveaway or raffle of some kindć½(;^o^ć½)
Most remarkable thing that happened to me this past year was starting doing cons and opening an online shop. It was amazing seeing my drawings slapped on things and people seeing value in it, and god, all the support I received was enough to make me cryĀ. I also went through my first time where I was anxious about being to pay rent around summer but it all got sorted out thanks to all your help and Iām still so thankful for it. Also encountered the rush that is completing artwork before deadlines and it was death but also very satisfying. I met fantastic people at cons(who convinced me into getting a twitter where iām still trying to fry my brain enough to not overthink) and Iām hoping to add at least one more convention this coming year. Iāll be sure to send pics this timeā( ļ½„ć ļ½„)Ł ĢĢ
Iāve also discovered how fun it was to make merch and Iāve been wondering what to do next. Well, I already have a lot of it down but Iām more ??? about who to get done. Iāve been wanting do to an interest check for a while, but for some reason I keep chickening out. Well, whatever the results may be, rest assured Iāll do my favorites even though theyāre constantly at the bottom of popularity polls*insert clown honking here* ALSO SHEFUIHWUIO PRICING COMMISSIONS IS STILL MY NEMESIS, Iām sorry to humanity for being such a dumbass. Consequently, since I started playing midway through the Alice in Wonderland event(and it took me like two days to start reading the plot and like him and not just try to level up the fastest I could), I have not been able to acquire the Masumi SSR card, which is why I have created a very simple but effective coping mechanismsystem in which I curl in a ball for some time thinking I COULD have whaled my way through the top before putting all that bad energy into some work and slapping it on what I sympathetically call my āStan Harderā zone on my cork board(residents: 1(for now))Ź ā¢į“„ā¢ Ź
