I know I'm being annoying on your feed but like what if I said that the Arcane fandom is a great example of how people are willing to rally behind oppressed peoples as long as said oppressed peoples play the 'bigger person'?

What if I said that I feel like a lot more of the Arcane fandom would be less willing to defend Caitlyn's actions if the people of Zaun were the 'perfect victims' that lay complicit in their own oppression instead of using the same violence that's been used against them for years to fight back? What if I said that?

Not only do they have to be perfect victims in not using violence but I can't help but feel like a lot of the issues in Zaun that are visible to the eye put a lot of people off in general, making a lot of people feel as if Cait/citizens of Piltover period are somewhat justified in their view of the undercity (even though the Council and the Enforcers are directly responsible for those issues; the mass disability, the infighting that happens because a lot of them are literally struggling for resources and hooked on drugs - which is a disease btw, the general look of the place, the chembarons, etc.)
