Glancing around to make sure no one was looking on at what was going on between them, not wanting a scene since this wasn’t his intentions. He was able to walk without making it look like he wasn’t suffering for the events of last night. He had gotten good at masking any pain he was feeling. He went to say something when Rebecca told him not to answer the question and walked inside of her home when she lead him inside. He took a deep breath after she turned her attention to him after closing the front door. “I am suppose to be a humble guy, but I am allowed to feel the way I do.” He pause to avert his hues up for a second. “I am happy for Bobby getting to keep the title. It still bothers me that I didn’t get have the title back again.” He sighed sadly with knowing he said something that he wouldn’t have the guts to say to anyone else.
She understood the feeling because it was once a worry that plagued her thoughts. She never wanted to lose her championship even if she understood that she’d one day have to. Rebecca sighed as she crossed her arms. “I wanted t’ see ya as the champion again, but ya get to climb the second mountain now! It’s somethin’ I heard from Edge. You proved you can make it and now you get t’ prove that you can do it again. And it’s gonna be so sweet t’ see ya hold that championship again.” she offered her words with a sweet smile, lips curving upwards as she tilted her head up so that she could look at him. Her hand reached out for his arm and she rested her fingers against him. “You’re gonna do it again. I just know it. It’s just someone else’s time t’ shine. Time for you to relax a little. You worked hard this past year, yeah?” she wondered, not watching a whole lot over the past year but enough to know Drew’s name was always near the top.
