currently ,  they  leaned  against  the  wall  of  milo’s  office  space ,  peering  out  the  window  at  the  garrison  below ,   longing  to  return  to  the  stars.   arms  are  crossed  over  chest ,  as  black  eyes  surveille  a  training  drill ,  watching  the  cadets  running  in  perfect  lines .   sighing ,  kaiera  pushes  off  the  wall ,  marching  to  sit  at  the  edge  of  the  marine’s  desk ,  grabbing  papers,  studying  them.   lithe  fingers  brushed black  hair  behind  their  pointed  ear,  as  an  almost  permanently  furrowed  brow  attempts  to  decipher  the  writing .     ❝     how  much  longer  are  we  going  to  be  stuck  in  here ?      ❞

Milo spares him a sympathetic eye.  There’s nothing he hates more than being stuck inside doing PAPERWORK, so he gets it.  The antsy feeling, the need to GET OUT.  Currently, he’s studying damage reports.  It’s his job right now to needle through what gets through to Commander Shirogane.  “ I’m sorry I don’t have more to delegate to you.  Unfortunately ... this portion of the job is ... lackluster.  Boring. “  He smiles, despite the despondency with which he’s greeted.  

“ Would it help perhaps if I promised ADVENTURE later? “ He’s bemused by the prospect of it -- They could get off base for a while, maybe that would help work out some of the frustrated energy.  ( Milo wants to get down to the ocean soon.  He misses the waves and three years beneath the Galra’s thumb has deprived him of his usual visits. ) “ We could go down to the ocean. “   -- Kolivan had asked him, politely, in his reserved way to keep an eye out for him.  TAKE CARE OF HIM.  ( “ You’re the one who looked after Keith, then.  I would request you extend Kaiera the same courtesy.  Patience. “ )  Milo is all too willing.  He wants to HELP, even if he doesn’t really know what it is he’s HELPING.

The late hour usually finds this section of the Garrison DESERTED.  

He frequents the memorial, in truth.  No one here at the Garrison will forget them, he’s sure, but he’s acutely aware within that any one of them could have been him.  His name could have been on one of these walls, somewhere in the world. ( Phlatt city, most likely, had he died then -- the MEMORIAL center there ... ah, it’s probably RUINS now.  That hurts his heart.  All those names that will be FORGOTTEN to time and chaos and destruction. ) 

Milo recognizes the figure in question.  They came in with the PALADINS.  With Keith.  He doesn’t know their name, but ... he’s certain that they couldn’t have known any of the individuals being honored here.  They look entirely concentrated, brows furrowed with the effort of their study and he doesn’t wish to DISTURB them.  He sets his candle upon the middle of the memorial and lights it quietly, shares of moment of silence in memory and honor.  ( He always comes dressed in his blues and his medals.  The fallen will always deserve nothing less than his best, their SACRIFICE that gave them a FIGHTING chance.  Always. )

It wins a soldier’s BREATH.  Milo swallows thick, clears his throat, virid eyes trail over every inch of him, pupils blown black with the sudden want.  ( Heat scrapes it’s talon down his gut. ) -- Kaiera is ... lovely.  Tawny skin and ethereal eyes, dancing mirth and fire in their gaze.  Fuck. 

ENTERTAIN ME, they say, with posture and pose of the royalty they herald and Milo is struck sudden with the urge to worship.  Unfair how WEAK he can be for something so lovely.  The invitation is a clear and enticing one.  He doesn’t allow for shy hands, trailing touch along powerful thighs, up over his sides as he leans close to press his kisses along Kaiera’s jaw.  

( POWERFUL, corded muscle beneath every touch.  So, so lovely. )

“Absolutely NOT.“  There’s no question to it, no place for arguement.  He kneels beside him well prepared to carry Kaiera back to safety if he must -- ( It’s an ironic parallel, isn’t it?  They told him before, what he did was brave but foolish, that it could have been TWO LIVES instead of one.  He told them every single time, he never would have left that boy to die.  He won’t leave Kaiera, either. )

It’s hopeless to attempt to make a stand HERE, they’d be overwhelmed quickly.  It’s a WARZONE.  “Put your arm around my shoulder.  I’ll carry your weight.”

Icons are 5USD for 100 – if I cannot get 100 icons done or you want LESS than 100, they’re .50 cents per 10 icons.  They go up to 1USD every 10 after the first 100.

so to break it down: .50 per 10 5 for 100 + 1 for every additional 10

these are 15USD but they cover as many questions as you want answered

these are usually done on a discord call, where you can listen to me explain everything and show you the cards that come up
