ooc. upon some reflection, i think i’m going to close this blog. i’ve found myself to be content just to observe others write joseph’s character rather than spin my own interpretation via RP, and have grown uncomfortable with the measures i took in setting up this blog to keep myself from receiving hate (that is to say, mercury is not my usual online moniker). i didn’t have any qualms about being another person writing him; i just don’t feel up to the task when there’s other muses i’d rather be writing for. 

i hope i haven’t disappointed some of you. i thought my heart was in keeping this up, but it wasn’t. there is still a queue for this blog, but after it’s empty i doubt i’ll post anything else here.

         It was a clear and bright Saturday morning. An ideal moving day, Joseph knew-- which was why the new neighbors slated to arrive were now settling into the once-vacant spot on the cul-de-sac. He had his routine intricately memorized at this point. Bring over a plate of baked goods, make small talk, appear safe. 

        It was a start to an agonizingly slow process. But patience was the key; endurance was necessary. In time he would have a bounty to reap. In time. After smoothing back his hair with a soft palm and preparing a warm smile, Joseph rang the doorbell.
