Is it dark in your mind, Like it is in this house when you’re not home? I wish it weren’t so hard to find meaning inside my hollow life, Every time you disappear and I’m left alone.  

Some days I want to pause your madness, Disintegrate the walls you’ve built around your heart And see what you’ve been hiding all along. There’s more to the mystery surrounding you And I know I’m the only one you let this close.

We’re no good for each other, There’s not a grain of hope for you and I, You know you’ve always been the one who drives me crazy And keeps me sane, both at the same time.

Other days I want to run and never look behind, But I need you like you need your fix; We’re not so different after all - I’d follow you through hell and drag you back to life, Do anything under the sun, just to have you here with me.
