halfway through the last week until fall break, and mornings are freezing. i am trying to stretch my dwindling notebooks until the end of the semester and i spent gleeful hours yesterday debugging code for my foucault pendulum decay/damping data.
have a good wednesday, my dudes.
15.10.2020 // studyblr community challenge
my fall break started today which means i won’t have any lectures for a week!! i spent today preparing my anthropology of religion essay, hopefully i can finish it tomorrow!
day 15 - tag someone you look up to
there are so many people here who i look up to but someone i definitely have to mention is @myhoneststudyblr who i really admire for her hard-working attitude and obviously also all these amazing challenges she has created to bring the whole studyblr community together!

The bearing of having positive people around you is very much vital in medicine.
Everyday, there’s this enormous load of transes and books to study. I realized lately, that medicine is indeed for the insane. The stress acquainted from medicine is not derived from the study load but from the emotional turnups, the internal breakdowns and the numerous self-doubting phenomenon if this path was indeed for me. Hence, you need people to share the same sentiments as you do.
P.S. I just took the liberty to jot down some thoughts while I was in my 30 minute mental break. breakdown. LMFAO
Here we go again - I really live for this café & I spend too much money here but it is the best way of actually getting out of the house for a bit

back on the korean grind. now that my study abroad is officially happening, i’ve gotta stay on top of scholarship apps and language studies. i’ve got a few months, so i’m starting at the beginning to do a much needed review before i try any new material.

journal series: I can’t tell you how grateful I am that this quarter is over! this was by far the busiest and most stressful quarter at uni I’ve ever experienced so I’m happy to say that after all the work, I’m finally back to doing what I love- making art, relaxing, journaling, and just taking time to take care of myself.
I’ve been making so much art lately and I really just feel so happy to be in a position where I have the time to be creative; here’s a little piece I made for my journal! I’ve also decided to make my art hobby a little business, since as yall know I lost my job to the pandemic earlier this year. if you want to support my art or even commission me for personalized collage piece, you can find all that info on my art instagram! my commissions are open and I’ve been having so much fun making stuff for people. I appreciate all your love and support, as always :)

i’m so proud of this mindmap honestly! i spent ages doing it on goodnotes and i am even getting an award for it in school which makes the three hours it took kinda worth it! what do you think of it?
Day 11-12 of My Winter Studying Challenge!
❄️ 11th December - What is a favourite family Christmas/holiday memory that has stuck with you through the years? Why? ❄️
It’s not one memory but rather a sort of collage of memories of opening up presents together over the years and I can just see snapshots in my mind in different houses and with diffident people but they are all special.
the other thing that i’ve remembered recently from seeing someone’s own answer to this question is that one year i completely booby trapped my room and set up multiple cameras to catch santa. and i mean it was basically impossible to get from the door to my bed where my stocking was hung - i have no idea how my mum (i mean santa) did it XD
❄️ 12th December - Does your family have any odd traditions during the holidays? ❄️
nothing in particular. we have a pretty quiet christmas that is pretty normal i think.
the holidays are upon us, and that means more reading time ✨🎄
december 14, monday
I’ve been taking a french intensive course with my uni’s language centre and I’ve forgotten so much from GCSEs! I really need to focus on rebuilding that foundation once we’ve finished new content for the term this week before I move on to revision of the Arabic I’ve been doing this term too. switching between four languages so intensively recently has left me with a permanent headache and very little self confidence haha
every day i wake up and i open up my silly little notebook to study my silly little subjects
heres da review this week!!
took these pics a few days ago but I’ve nearly finished everything on the to-do list! submitted my final papers for both my college classes :)
