An amused laugh caused Amberlyn's throat to vibrate as she turned Carver's words over in her head, thinking about just how much of her life was based on doing things regardless of if she wanted to or not. Her parents hadn't ever asked her if she wanted to do something, they simply assumed she would do it, and the witches certainly hadn't asked her if she wanted to be kidnapped. The majority of the vampires didn't care what she wanted, either, they thought they were entitled to anything and her emotional response wasn't relevant. If anything, they all seemed to enjoy whatever would case the humans the most distress in the beginning and even Carver hadn't asked if she'd wanted to be bitten, just if she could handle it.
Things had changed a lot since that first day, that first week and first month. They had morphed in unexpected ways, twisting down various paths of possibilities until it was hard to look back at their starting point and believe it was where they had really came from. Pressing another kiss against chilled skin, Amberlyn looked up and licked her lips before catching the vampires gaze, making sure not to look away as she dragged her tongue upwards.
"Some people here would disagree with you on that," Amberlyn murmured before nipping at the skin above one of Carver's ribs, teeth applying enough pressure only to tease. It had been a bite that had really started things between them, except that bite hadn't been a tease, that had been a harsh press that caused teeth to pierce through skin and blood to flow as Carver took and Amberlyn gave. Humming at the memory, Amberlyn kissed at the spot, lips brushing against flesh between her words as she made her way along the woman's abdomen. "I've never wanted to do anything more since I arrived here."
Carver was right, they did some agree on things but Amberlyn didn't pause what she was doing to make a return comment, warm satisfaction curling around Amberlyn's spine with each soft, exhaled word from the other woman. Hands running along Carver's sides and over her hips, Amberlyn dragged her nails down the soft skin on the outside of Carver's thighs as her mouth trailed back down. The urge to taste every inch of the other woman had been boiling inside of her almost since the very start of the night and her position sparked ideas inside of her mind as cool fingers brushed hair from her face. Smirking against smooth skin, her lips make a lazy trail back down, moving back and forth to run her tongue along soft curves.
As she made her way back down again and scraped her teeth along the jut of a hipbone as she ran her fingertips along Carver's leg, pressing lightly in suggestion as she squirmed against the rumpled sheets to settle more comfortably. Nips and kisses fell against skin that didn't taste as cool as usual as Amberlyn's mouth traveled from hip to the inside of the vampire's thigh, not too far from where Carver would rarely bite her. Sucking lightly at a patch of skin, the image of Carver with her fingers in her mouth to clean them flashed through her head, causing her to whimper.
Taking her mouth away, Amberlyn rubbed her cheek against damp flesh as her arms wrapped around Carver's legs loosely and she raised up on her elbows. "Please.." She asked, swallowing away her hesitation as her stomach flipped with want, tongue running along her lips as her fingertips pressed more firmly into cool skin that soaked up her warmth. "Can I?"Â
