Got to visit the Dallas aquarium and Fort Worth Zoo this weekend and, let me just say, it was an experience. I have a pretty home based life due to various reasons including medical and financial, so this trip was very special and one of a kind for me. Took a long car ride(which i hated cause storms) from Mississippi to texas, got a kinda fancy hotel with a ball, and visiting these to well know and pretty highly recommend places. It has been so refreshing from being stuck at home all the time. My only real problem i had was at the aquarium since i am having to use my wheelchair more, it was very hard to get to the exhibits cause so many people(and i say this with no racial malice) mostly out of country tourist, would either push past me even after i had been waiting for like five mins or block the exhibit for 10 mins while taking videos of the tanks. But besides those relatively small hiccups, i have loved this trip so much. The aquarium had my favorite bird, the shoebill stork, which neither my boyfriend or i knew so as soon as we got our tickets they were like right there, and i swear I’m not lying, but it made me so happy i shed a tear.

If i even get well of enough to make trips like these more, does anyone have any recommendations? Anything with animals is a win, but also interactive museums or enriching activities also interest me. Also tell me why you liked it and you favorite things!!!
