amelia’s full name is amelia bati stratford, but for stage and fame purposes she just goes by amelia bati. nicknames include melia or ames. she also goes by mimi but literally only her family and closest friends can call her that.
she was born in london but her fam moved to nyc when she was like 5 or 6 (idk ok im bad @ math but she was there for like most of her life)
the stratfords are hella fuckin rich. melia is a trust fund baby. like, rich kids of instagram. obnoxiously rich.
her mom is a designer & her dad owns commercial properties like for stores and office buildings n whatnot
her parents are generally rlly supportive of whatever she wants to do??? they never tried to /force/ her into their businesses. her mom wanted her to model, considering she’s a designer, but it was never high on amelia’s list of careers.
she loves music and making music and she’s working on releasing her first studio album. she’s been learning piano since she was a kid & in hs she picked up guitar and started doing covers of songs, only recently (like the past few years or so) writing original music
has a lot of dance training, just because she went though a thing where she wanted to be a professional dancer so her parents put her in lessons, now it just applies to her wanting to make pop/r&b/dance music
fr though she just loves music and partying and fun and sometimes getting into trouble
even though she has money, she feels like she has to work extra hard at her music career because she doesnt want people to think she had it easy or handed to her so she’s really a perfectionist w/ her music
even tho she’s wild sometimes, she knows how to be professional but tbh she just loves being young and living the fab life
