  Hearing a noise that sounded familiarly like Kagami’s stomach when he was hungry, Kuroko smiled a bit. He had been familiar with that sound during high school - after all, he knew his friend would get hungry like this all the time back then. To be honest, he had rather missed the sound when he had moved here, but hearing it again brought a wave of nostalgia over him.

It was good to have Kagami back.

"I know a good place not too far from here." The bluenette quickly caught up with the other, pointing out the direction they were headed toward.

As he followed Kuroko through Prava, Kagami wondered where he would take him to eat. Kuroko didn't ask him what he wanted to eat but Kagami was sure that he would take him somewhere good. Some ideas sparked in his head as to where they were going such as a buffet or a ramen house, but he was pretty sure Kuroko would surprise him as he always did.

Suddenly, Kuroko stopped in front of a building, which took all of Kagami's effort to stop in front of him.

  "I’m not doing anything on purpose." Innocent eyes stared back into the other’s eyes, as though he couldn’t possibly believe that he could be blamed for such a thing. 

But he was pretty sure Kagami wouldn’t mind. After all, this was their first time seeing each other in a year. Besides, he hadn’t done that to him in a while, and his reaction was still as entertaining as ever.

"Where would you like to go first?" Kuroko asked after a momentary pause. Prava was a tourist location after all, and there were some pretty sights around.

Kagami's stomach rumbled as he heard Kuroko's offer to take him anywhere. He hadn't eaten very much since his large meal of airport burgers before he got on the plane. On the airplane, all he received to eat was a pack of stale peanuts and a tiny carton of apple juice.

His stomach's calling became louder as Kagami felt the hunger pangs start to kick in. To him, nothing felt worse than hunger. Well, actually, bumping his head on the basketball rim while trying to dunk was painful too. 

But hunger was his everyday enemy and he turned to face it every 20 minutes or whenever he felt hungry. He tried to fight the desire to eat, but Kagami expertly lost that battle.

"Kuroko," he said sheepishly, knowing that Kuroko wanted to show him around, "Can we get something to eat first? I'm famished..." as he staggered painfully towards the airport's front door.

"He should be here by now."

Kuroko looked up at the arrivals screen for the umpteenth, just to make sure that nothing had changed with the status of his friend’s flight in the last few seconds he had checked. He was overly concerned about these kind of things, not being a very positive person when it came to airplane flights and the such.

Finally though, he spotted a mass of familiar red hair, standing out from the crowd. As if his height didn’t do that already. Keeping his poker face intact, he waited for said person to near before approaching a bit and speaking up.

"Kagami-kun. Long time no see."

Kagami stepped into the terminal, his eyes searching for his blue-haired friend. It had been a long time since they had last seen each other on the last day of high school. He thought about the first time he had seen him at the basketball tryouts and how he had such a small unidentifiable presence. He quickly assured himself that he would easily spot him this time. Suddenly, he heard a voice. 

"Kagami-kun. Long time no see."

Kagami jolted in shock as he looked down at a tiny figure staring up at him blankly. 

"Kuroko, stop doing that to me!" he shouted as he quickly gathered his senses back.

Man, he could never even get used to Kuroko's presence no matter how prepared he was. Plus, he always appeared at the most unexpected times.

"Hey, Kuroko, time to show me why you dragged me all the way out here for."
