Okay, so my brain can't handle a billion separate blogs, so I'm moving Steve to @marvelousmysteries
I'll delete this blog on December 21st to give everyone time to decide what they want to do.
Steve chuckled and kissed her forehead, Peggy was stubborn as an ox, and he loved her for it. Bucky use to tease Steve about how he and Peggy were both so stubborn that they were a match made in heaven.
"We can do that, I was going to go make breakfast but I can stay here with my best girl."
Her eyes fluttered closed as she relished the brush of his lips against her skin. It was still sinking in that he was there, even after a full night spent at his side and she found herself still checking to be sure he was.
At his words, she laughed. "You don't even know where I keep the pans," she pointed out, fingers tracing a light, aimless pattern on his chest, "Let alone the kettle and mugs."
"I'd figure it out," the feeling of her fingertips drawing random patterns on his chest was distracting.
"I can't promise a continental breakfast, but I can make some toast, and I still remember how you take your tea." Tea had been a rare luxury during the war, but he'd memorized how Peggy drank her tea when she could get it and her coffee when she couldnโt.
"But I'll stay here."
@americansentinel Said: forehead, sender presses their forehead against receiver's. (Peggy Carter)
Peggy let out a content sigh as she leaned against him and their foreheads touched. Her arms wrapped around his waist, sometimes it still felt like a dream she was here with him.
That sigh made him smile, this was all he wanted when he first woke up in the future, he'd promised her a date and now he could keep his promise. That was something he'd thought he'd never get to do, especially after losing her.
"Penny for your thoughts, Peg?"
"I promised you I would be." Steve said smiling as she touched his face, covering her hand with his, Steve turned his head to kiss her palm.
"It's still early, do you want to go back to sleep or are you ready to get up?"
"I know, I just-" Peggy broke off, breath catching as she felt his lips brush over the skin of her palm. She wasn't sure just how to explain the number of times she'd had a dream version of him promise her the very same thing, only to be greeted with cold sheets and an empty bed.
She hadn't slept the best she ever had, but Peggy's jaw set stubbornly as it had the night before, only this time she'd had at least a couple hours of sleep. "I want to be right here with you," she declared, winding her arm around his waist.

Peggy laughed softly, wrapping her arms around him. "Of course you can. In fact, I rather like when you do." She smiled, leaning into his touch.
Smiling Steve kissed her again, with a little less passion, he was never going to get bored of kissing Peggy Carter, of that he was sure. She was and always would be the love of his life.
"I ran out and picked up dinner for us, go sit, I'll plate it up and then you can tell me about your day."
Steve was a light sleeper, so every time Peggy stirred awake, so did he. Sheโd eventually drift back off. Usually snuggled close to him, and Steve would go back to sleep himself.
So by the time the morning came, he hesitated to get up and go for his run in case she woke up while he was out.
As fitfully as she slept, Peggy needed extra sleep. So Steve stayed in bed watching for any sign she was waking up.

Send " โโโ " for your muse to suddenly and unexpectedly kiss mine. (for Peggy)
@americansentinel
Peggy gasped softly as Steve kisses her unexpectedly and passionately. "Mm, hello darling. What's that for?"
"What I can't kiss my best girl because I missed her?" Steve teased, stroking his thumb along her cheekbone. God, he loved this woman and couldn't help himself but kiss her the moment he saw her.
Kissing her forehead, Steve went quiet, listening as Peggyโs breathing slowed. When he was pretty sure she'd drifted off Steve, let his eyes close and relaxed.
If Peggy woke up, he'd be here, but he could rest easy until then.

"I'm not going anywhere, Sweetheart. You're stuck with me." All he'd wanted when he'd woke up in the future was to come home, and now he was here with the love of his life.
"It was always you, Peggy. It's always going to be you."
"Good," she murmured. It wasn't a witty retort and her fears weren't allayed, not by a long shot, but she was exhausted and his words at least warmed her through. Between the solid mass of him all but below her, his soothing touch at the nape of her neck, and the small comfort brought by his words, she found herself drifting off as her eyes closed again, sinking into slumber slowly against him.

"I know... I've had this dream all the time when I was away." He'd often wake up, alone, missing Peggy so bad it physically hurt.
But she was starting to relax. Hopefully, she'd go to sleep soon.
"I love you, Peg. How can I put your mind at ease?"
She hated feeling so needy, so desperate for him to be close. But she couldn't help it and quite frankly, if there were ever a moment, this was it.
Peggy shakes her head slightly, tightening her arm around his waist, eyes blinking heavily. "I'm not sure you can," she admitted. "Just... stay, I suppose?"

"It was always you, Peggy. It's always going to be you."
"Gladly." He continued to massage her neck and pressed a couple of kisses to her hair. He'd stay just like this all night if it meant she got some sleep.
"I'm not going anywhere, Sweetheart. I fought so hard to get back here to you. Just relax, I'm right here."
Peggy hummed, melting into the massage, her eyes fluttering closed against her will. Her head rolled forward, resting against his shoulder.
"I've had this dream before," she murmured. She doesn't want to admit to it, but she's terrified that she'll wake any moment and the solid warmth of his body will be replaced by her pillow, that this is just yet another painful, cruel trick of her mind

Steve chuckled as he watched her struggle to fight off sleep, and he couldn't blame her. If he was in her position, he wouldn't want to sleep either.
"Peggy, sweetheart. It's alright, I promise." He gently massaged her neck as he pulled her in close so her head rested over his heart.
"What can I do to make you feel better? Say the word, and I'll do it. But you need sleep."
The steady beating of his heart did nothing to help keep her a wake, lulling her into rest. She'd been thirteen hours into an exceedingly long day and that was before a contrite, time-traveling Steve Rogers had arrived on her porch.
He's right; she needs sleep. Her body is unable to keep from shivering, exhaustion pressing at her. But still, she fights on.
She could nearly weep as his fingers gently press into the too-tense muscles at the base of her school."Just.... stay," she murmurs, fingers clutching at his shirt.
"Gladly." He continued to massage her neck and pressed a couple of kisses to her hair. He'd stay just like this all night if it meant she got some sleep.

@ofgunsandlipstick liked for Dad!Steve
Steve was the first one to wake up when their daughter cried in the night, that didn't go away now that she was a toddler and would just crawl into bed with them when she had a nightmare.
Opening his eyes to see their daughter sniffling and hugging her teddy at their bedside, Steve just sighed scooped their daughter up and tucked her into the bed between himself and Peggy.
He hadn't meant to wake his wife, but apparently he had.
"Sorry, she had a bad dream."
There was no better father than Steve, of that, Peggy was certain. He was always so eager to help, and quick to know what needed to be done. It certainly didn't hurt that he was able to stay sane on far less sleep than any regular man, especially during the first few months of having a newborn. In fact, Peggy couldn't even remember the last time she'd had to get up in the middle of the night to get the baby; she was always handed her in bed with a soft kiss to her forehead whenever she needed to nurse, allowing her the mercy of just a few more blessed moments of sleep.
It seemed that habit ran deep and was hard to break, because Steve still was the fastest to respond to any sound out of their toddler's room. She blamed the super-hearing.
Peggy roused as she felt Steve shift and just as she always did, sat up, arms outstretched to accept their little girl. She didn't need nightly feeding anymore, but Peggy never turned down a cuddle. "That's alright," she murmured, wrapping her little girl up in her arms, running her hand over her hair. "Mummy and Daddy will make it all better," she promised.
Their daughter instantly cuddled into Peggy's embrace, and Steve kissed Peggy's forehead like he had from the first night their daughter was born.
He loved his girls so much and would do whatever he needed to do to take care of both of them.
Climbing into his side of the bed, Steve wrapped his arms around his wife and daughter.
"Don't worry, Daddy isn't going to let anything happen to my best girls."
