âđ đđđđ đ§đą đ§đđđĄđ đ'đ đ„đđđđđŹ đđąđąđ đđ§ đŁđđđĄđ§đđĄđ, but i know iâm not really that good at it. but yâknow? thatâs okay!â paint had managed to splatter everywhere possible   â   on her chest, on her face, on her hands and on her shirt, but poppy didnât mind. in fact, wasnât that what made painting a little more fun? getting down and dirty with the tsunami of colors splattered along an abstract canvas with no real meaning!   she was more than happy to be there, no real image of what she wanted to do in mind but hey, who cared about that sort of thing in the first place?   leaning back on her stool as she created a little frame with her fingers, her tongue gently poking out on the side of her mouth, she observed. âwhat dâya think? needs more pink, right? i donât think iâve got anymore left either but thatâs okay!â leaning over, poppy casted a look at the other painting. âwhatcha trying to make?âÂ
@sunnysidestarters.
Why had Anya decided to take one of these stupid classes at the community center? She lost a bet with her coworkers and theyâd signed her up as her punishment. So here she sat, in a painting class. She glanced over at the woman speaking, eyeing the abstract piece with confusion. âItâs.. cute... Iâd add more green, personally.â She shrugged, hoping the criticism would pass as someone who knew what she was talking about. Anya stabbed at her own canvas with her paintbrush. Her canvas looked more like a child had spilled a lot of blues and yellows on a canvas with reckless abandon. âUm... A beach? I guess? I wanted to capture the pier but I guess itâs just... a mess?â
kidaâ:
Head rested on the heel of her hand, Kida thought over what had just been reported. âBruh, itâs just getting wrapped up too nicely, rich kinda scary looking lady killed the nice mother-like figureâŠnah, this ainât just the endâŠcouldnât have whatâs his face planted it there??â
@sunnysidestarters
âYouâre seriously implying that Jim Hawkins wouldâve framed the already creepy woman?â Anya --who, admittedly, barely knew Jim Hawkins other than in passing outside of her apartment-- felt the indignant tone rising up inside of her. âHonestly this whole thing with the Sanders woman just needs to end so this town can take a sharp left out of Cuckoosville!â
samanthaâ:
âWhoever Mrs.Tremaine is, sheâs fucking dull, who on Godâs green earth keeps evidence in their god damned house??â The incompetence was what seemed to be the only thing that really bugged Samantha about this, she never knew Winnie and honestly, missed the big sheâs missing thing and though she felt bad for the womanâs friends and family, she had no ties emotionally to the case. âDo ye think the lady killed her??â
@sunnysidestarters
âThatâs the part youâre concerned about, huh?â Anya asked, vaguely pointing to emphasize her words. âAbout how exciting this all is?â In truth, Anya didnât really care about the story either but she at least wasnât making light of it. A lot of people in Sunnyside were deeply disturbed by it, Anya barely knew the woman. âFor everyone elseâs sake I hope not... Whoâd want to kill a nice old lady?â
peter:
  Peter looked up from what he was doingâmaking random notes on a small notebook he brought with him, fine point pen in hand. âDo you mean like going to Canada or bungee jumping?â He asked, gazing at Anya. Today just might be one of those rare occasions where the tone of the conversation was borderline serious. âOh, soul searching?â It was a suggestion. If it was, he could relate. He was never one to sit still, and even if heâs sitting down, he usually needs a book handy or his guitar or a hockey stick. âWhatâs on your mind, Anya?â
âI mean, like, just disappearing into the night or-or...â Anya searched her brain for another example, gesturing vaguely. âOr maybe, like, robbing a bank? Like, something just insane, yâknow?â She looked over at Peter, seeing the confusion. She almost felt bad, they were supposed to be having a chill beach day. âI just... I dunno, Sunnyside is so... family oriented that I think Iâm suffocating right now. Itâs so... quiet here. Iâm frustrated.â
hans:
Hans grinned a little, watching the girl dance. âCareful, we wouldnât want you running into anyone,â he pointed out, leaning up against the wall as a stranger passed by. âIâm happy for you though! What do you plan to do with this gorgeous day?â he asked with a smile.
âHonestly? Iâm super not sorry!â Anya admitted. âI just got the best news Iâve had in weeks and itâs time to celebrate! Iâm gonna go wild! Paint the town red! Do something crazy!â Anya didnât have a clue what was on the agenda, nor did she care. She was free for the evening!
dimitri:
His head canted at her, his brow raised and he gave her a wide smile. âBecause dinner with me is never boring, and youâre the one girl in this town who likes to walk on the wild side.â Spreading his arms, he shrugged. âBesides. You look like you had a hell of a night, and I would like to make sure you spend the rest of it pampered and relaxed before we get you home to Pooka.â
Anya mulled over his words, turning them over in her head as though they were a fine wine she was trying to study the flavor of. He had a way with words that intrigued and infuriated her, Anya feeling suspicious of anyone who spoke so smoothly. âWell I suppose if itâs on Mr. Moneybags over here then I canât really say no, can I?â She mused. âPooka can wait for me a little longer.â
silvie:
Silvie stood absolutely still as Anya pranced around, a bright smile on their face to see the other so happy when usually Anya was only exhausted from work, âThatâs lovely darling! Where should we go first? The beach? The pool?â those were the places Silvie liked to frequent, obviously.
Anya stopped her movement, smiling over at Silvie. âThe beach for sure, though I need to pick Pooka up before we go because he deserves an extra walk today and the beach is one of his favorite places to go.â She bounced, pleased, as she started off toward her home. âYou in?â
"Do you ever think about just... disappearing? Or, like, doing something drastic on the off-chance that the people who were supposed to be responsible for you might just come claim you to stop it?â Anya mused, leaning against a large piece of driftwood. She had been in a funk lately, had been itching to do something that would make people notice her or, in the opposite direction, something that would cause her to cease to exist entirely. She was already so close to being less than a blip on the radar of Earthâs history.

Sharpenings.
shockâ:
âżÂ âIâm so over summer.â Shock said to no one in particular as she walked into McCreaâs Milkshakes. It wasnât necessarily her favorite place, but it was somewhere for her to escape the heat and enjoy one of her favorite things at the same time. It was busy at McCreaâs; Shock had a feeling that it would be but she was hoping with everything in her being that she would be wrong. Walking up the counter it didnât take too long for her to place her order; a salted caramel milkshake. Sitting on one of the barstools, she observed her surroundings; children everywhere laughing and speaking too loud, other people all around enjoying this beautiful Sunday of summer. Shock sat with her elbow on the counter, head resting in her hand. âThe sooner summer ends, the better.â
âSunnyside seems to be one of the only places with a university that doesnât have a major exodus when the school year ends.â Anya mused, sipping her banana pineapple shake. She looked the other up and down, assessing the situation. âThe heat is unbearable but at least the waterâs swimmable now.â Not that Anya was necessarily the girl you were going to catch at the beach. Honestly, there werenât many community activities she cared for in general. âWhat season do you prefer?â

dimitriâ:
Dimitri was never one to be bored for long. He always had something up his sleeve. Tonightâs antics? Making sure he got all the house bets on a fight, stashing up the money from every drunk and rowdy man in the bar who thought they were just handing the money to the pot holder. Amazing what alcohol could do to dull the senses. As he left the bar unnnoticed due to the extreme amount of testosterone being thrown around, he walked around counting the bills until he saw a familiar face. Pocketing the money, he gave them a sly grin and a wave. âYou up for some dinner on me?â @sunnysidestarters
Anya had just managed to con her way off the clock for the night by reminding her boss sheâd just hit OT the week before and was going to be dangerously close this week as well. She slid her leather jacket onto her back and was planning on heading to the nearest place that had anything but bar food when she heard that voice nearby. She turned, spotting Dimitri collecting money from patrons and it piqued her interest. âDinner? With you? Now why would I want that?â
âGuess whoâs got the day off!â Anya exclaimed, dancing triumphantly. âHell yeah! I can do whatever the fuck I want and thereâs no one to stop me!â
