People don't talk about or maybe they do and I don't know but The Good Place is so inherently hopeful. But it's not hopeful in a naive way. It literally just looks at you right in the eye and says, that yes I know you did very shitty things, and I know you are scared and I know you are angry, but they don't DEFINE you because you were raised in environment beyond your control which then contributed to your harmful actions. The Good Place rather believes in creating an environment where it is the default and easy position for a normal person to choose good.

But whats better is that it says that by deciding to become a good person you cannot just erase your past. You have to pay your dues or rather 'karma'. The tests that Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason face are TORTURE but they ace them by confronting their past mistakes and rectifying them. The good place says that facing your karma or rather consequences of your actions is a good thing because karma is not a punishment but a test given to you because someone wants you to do better. The tests or difficulties you face right now are not because you are a bad person and now have to serve eternal punishment - rather they are an act of faith in your potential than a verdict on your worth.

It states that the will of universe is inherently based on empathy and faith rather than blind judgement. The statement that the universe out there is ROOTING so hard for you - is so powerful especially when people feel stuck or defined by their past!!!

｡ regresses to about 4-6 . old enough to understand but young enough to be a little one

｡ is so stubborn and often grumpy

｡ will only be small around van (adult and teen)

｡ has a comfort blanket she usually hides under

｡ hates playing hide and seek cus she gets scared she’s going to lose van forever

｡ in the adult tl, is so clingy with van when she finds out about the cancer

｡ only goes to sleep if van is there to scare away the bad monsters (the man with no eyes)

｡ loves to bake when small

｡ likes to play with adult tai’s makeup and dresses to be a princess

｡ often sucks her thumb, refuses a paci because ‘that’s what babies do’ but van definitely gives her one when she’s scared

｡ LOVES making new friends and will hound up to other littles with so much confidence

｡ super clingy with van, is only ever seen without her if she’s playing with other littles as she hates to be alone

｡ loves to read and be read to
