#she goes to the cemetery because she feels like she should#like it’s a Thing that she’s supposed to do#like it’s a Thing that Normal People do#but she can’t#it’s just not her#but damn it she tries#because she wants to love Root the way she thinks Root deserves to be loved#and then she gets that message#that beautiful message#that basically says that Root loved her for exactly who she is#for who she has always been#a constant#a straight line#an arrow#and boy does that fucking hit home#and so she says goodbye to Root in the place where she knows Root to be#Root’s final resting place if you will#because Root is here#in these wires#and not in the ground#she can say goodbye in her own way#in her own time#because Root never wanted any more from her than she could give#and to Root she was perfect#and god i don’t think i will ever stop crying about how beautiful this relationship is via @madasaboxofcats
