Older and married for 28 years. Since I’ve spent so much time writing about them at this age for my Family Ties fic, I had to do a drawing to bring the concept to life. They are adorbs! 💚💙

Drakken is less blue now that they’ve turned their lives around and he’s no longer evil.

Chapter 8 of Family Ties IS UP!

This chapter is an emotional ending to such a chaotic story. I’m completely in love with older Dr. D here 🥺 It feels like such a wholesome conclusion to his arc.

I'm currently writing the last chapter of Family Ties, and I'm soooo in love with older, married Drakken x Shego 🥺🥺😭💕 So I'm going to post a little Drakgo tidbit from one of my fics here.

It's a reverse Bad Boy episode. Kim becomes bad and Shego becomes good.

Drakken was hard at work in his lab, hunched over the Attitudinator, trying to bring it back to life.

"Ugh," he groaned, rubbing his temples. "It's more damaged than I thought it would be."

Reaching out absentmindedly, he muttered, "Shego, can you hand me my—" He stopped mid-sentence, suddenly realizing she wasn't there.

"Wait… where did she go?"

He had been so focused on his work that he hadn't even noticed her leaving. With a shrug, he turned back to the device, only to be interrupted moments later by a very excited, very un-Shego-like voice.

"Andrew, sweetheart! Look what I got us!"

Drakken spun around, eyes wide in disbelief. Shego had just strolled into the lab, wearing jeans and a simple T-shirt, cradling a tiny black kitten in her arms.

"An—Andrew?!" he sputtered. "Since when do you call me that?! And what are you wearing?!"

Shego chuckled, completely unfazed. "Look!" She held the kitten up proudly. "How cute is he?"

Drakken blinked, utterly dumbfounded. "Where did that cat come from?"

"I adopted him from the city shelter!" she announced, grinning from ear to ear. "His name is Mr. Whiskers!"

"You adopted a cat?! Why?!"

"For us to take care of, silly," she said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "He's part of our family now!"

"Fa—family?!" Drakken felt his blood pressure spike. He plopped down into his chair, staring at Shego and her new furry companion like they had just sprouted extra heads.

"And guess what!" Shego continued, beaming. "I also signed us up to volunteer at the shelter next Saturday! It'll be so much fun to help out. Oh! I think I'll even bake a cake to bring for the other volunteers!"

Drakken's eye twitched. For a brief second, he wondered if he was dreaming. Then, as his gaze drifted back to the Attitudinator on his workbench, the realization hit him like a freight train.

Slowly, he stood and approached her, his voice calm but cautious. "Shego, dear… don't you feel like… doing something evil today?"

Shego let out a soft giggle. "Of course not! I just want to stay home with you and Mr. Whiskers!"

Drakken felt the color drain from his face.

"Oh no."

Kim: I'm telling you, Monique. I've been giving him signals that I have feelings for him for months now! But nothing! I don't know what to do anymore! His obliviousness is incurable!

Monique: Girl, it's time to drop the subtlety! Be straight and firm! Grab him by the shoulders, look him firmly in the eyes, and say: "I love you, you doofus!" That's the only way to get it through that thick head of his.

Kim: You're right. I'm doing this.

Ron: *Walks in.* Hey, ladies! What's up?!

Kim: *Grabs him by the shoulders, looks him firmly in the eyes*

"I love you, you doofus!" *waits for an answer*

Ron: *blinks* Aww! I love you too, silly! Gives her a friendly tap on the shoulder. We're like PB and J! BFFs forever! *Raises his hand for a high five.*

Kim: *Meets his high five while looking at Monique with an "I told you so" face.*

Ron: Gotta run, ladies. See you at lunch! *Leaves, waving enthusiastically.*

Kim: *Sighs.*

Monique: Ok... You're gonna need a new plan...
