Why are Black Women SO angry?
Honestly, there are plenty of reasons.
For one, we are people, and it just so happens that people have emotions - anger being one of them. Second, having to deal with racism and sexism simultaneously is beyond exhausting, not to mention life-threatening. Third, we are assumed to be angry - even when we aren’t - because blackness is seen as inherently aggressive. So chances are, we will be perceived as angry if we exhibit anything less than delirious happiness. Finally, WE. HAVE. A. FUCKING. RIGHT. TO. BE. ANGRY.
