on kit’s accent: he was born in glasgow but moved to london when he was six. he was promptly bullied hard enough to make him put effort into losing his accent, and as such he now speaks with an estuary london accent - however he’s maintained the lilting cadence of glaswegian, and can sometimes be a little difficult to understand if you’re not expecting him to talk as fast as he does, or have as changeable an accent as he does

forgive the mobile post but - there are people in winterlake who have memories of growing up there. they have memories of their childhood, going to their town’s single elementary school, single middle and high school, single college —- no one ever feels like they need to Go Elsewhere, and if they do they don’t voice those feelings. they have memories of falling in love, of living entire life cycles … but did that really happen ? are there people in town who have lived there, and don’t know any different ? or are they false memories? what happens to someone who previously lived a whole lifetime, but wakes up next to their spouse with no recollection of them? what happens when you’re no longer on the same timeline as someone with whom you had been previously? can people actually live legitimately in this town, or is it all just falsehoods? only the town knows :)
