Life lately. Can't believe it's already been 4 weeks that this tiny human came in and changed everything.

Waiting around and keeping busy because we are about to go on the craziest adventure. And by keeping busy I mean walking 15 blocks only to arrive at a closed bakery and then making pizza and a pizookie and falling into a food coma at home with my ladies #whpawaywego (at Red Rock Canyon State Park)

So far my first few days of maternity leave have consisted of getting stuff done around the apartment that I had been putting off for weeks and watching way too many @lildickygram videos. Basking in the silence and ability to run around town without a second thought for the last few days before this little boy arrives and changes it all!

We have officially hit the 9 month mark and it's kiiinda starting to sink in. Kinda feeling like this is a huge final exam and I'm just procrastinating my studying, as usual. Kinda also feeling just like we did when we were getting ready for our wedding...everyone kept asking if I was freaking out/scared/nervous/anxious and I'd just answer with a simple "I'm happy", because I didn't really feel any type of panic. It's just life. And it can be awesome and it can also be terrible, but it's life and it goes on so what's the point of freaking out, ya know? So for now, I'll just enjoy the tiny clothes scattered around our apartment and the cool project Cesar and I have been working on for the past 9 months 👶🏻 /end of ramble

Another year of going on adventures with this dude. Froze my butt and fingers off today, and my cheeks are magenta from the cold and sun, but I wouldn't trade these experiences for anything.
