I'm a bit confused, i'm not punk or a metal head or whatever, but i just wonder, (ignoring the musical aspect of being punk/metal) If you guys are about non conformity and "disobey", how come you all dress alike. What I see is that your uniform is colored mohawk, plaid pants, military boots, a leather or denim jacket with much metal, and the n as many chains as you see fit for the day. Care to inform me as to my that is? I'm just curious, No judgement or anything
It really varies from person to another, its not really a uniform, many punks use clothing as a way of making a statement, that's why they seem alike, you can see'em as skinheads with bands fan t-shirts and ripped jeans, as 80s American scene spawned a utilitarian anti-fashion that was nonetheless raw, angry, and intimidating. However, elements of the 70s punk look never fully died away. If you look at it as a "Group" of people being unique, they're not the same, otherwise they wouldn't be 'punk'.
