Would it hurt to give someone flowers? To give them something you think they will like? it's not even now a matter of whether she will like it or not but the thought that actually came with it, that you poured your mind into thinking the gift which will remind the person that she is special.

Sometimes I think what if after all these, and you come back, will it be okay?

To this day, I still remember the first Valentine's day I got to celebrate with flowers and enjoyable moments to someone who is no longer in my life. That memory that I will forever cherish can't seem to be replaced by the person I am with now. Why is that?

I am writing this 2 years later. I was checking my tumblr and I saw my post on the same date of 2016. I recalled having the memory of thinking that exactly one year from 2016 I saw you again.

I can't remember the details but I remember being excited to go home, I remember looking for a seat, trying to analyze which seat would be perfect, seat that would not be directed against the sunlight and the seat that would allow me to be melodramatic as I look at the mountains on my home. Then I found one, I was comfortable at last. Other passengers came rushing in as well, and ah, I saw a familiar face. A very familiar face. It took me five seconds to realize that it was him. A short smile came, an acknowledgement that we know each other. Funny how he sat infront of me.

I was busy texting people I know about this funny coincidence. That aftet almost three years, this was the second time we got in the bus together, the first time was where we sat beside each other, second is when he sat in front of me. This is despite us living in the same city, despite us going home to the same city... I was busy texting then a phone fell

It was his.

I picked it up and the rest was history. 3 hour ride, and me thinking how funny life could get. Exactly one year from the last time I saw him, and I was able to smile and say

"I'm already okay"
