Friend, I’m asking you today to quit worrying about your future. Quit worrying about who you’re going to meet. Quit being frustrated because somebody is not on your team. If God is for you, you will have the right connections. If God is for you, you will get the right breaks. If God is for you, who dare be against you? And friend, God is always for your good. You just keep doing your part to be faithful and obedient to Him. Learn to follow Him because He will lead you in the path of blessing, provision and everlasting life! “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, NKJV)

This thought has truly captivated me recently. Over every fear, every pain, every sorrow, every failure. Over every joy, over every laughing heart, over every statement of faith and declaration.

It’s beautifully challenging to know that we make our plans, but ultimately the Lord determines our steps. Whether you’re in a time of absolute pain and sorrow, or if you’re on the mountaintops of life, it’s always temporary and another season will follow.

Tough times don’t diminish the authority of Christ in our lives…it’s how we react to situations that determine how much room we give Christ to intervene.

“Do not fret because of those who are evil, or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.” - Psalm 37:1-6
