“ Postcards to no one ☝️ “January 2024
Series of postcard sized drawings with paint markers and wax crayons on recycled cardboard
Wax on wax paper drawings done in crayons 🖍️ intuitive drawings made quickly during meditation…. Abstract Drawing series
Here are some more work from my charred wood and wax pigment series. ℹ intuitively create these through chance … these truly come from one’s soul ….out of darkness there is colour and light.
Here are some tiny pieces on burnt panels with wax crayons 🖍️ really enjoying this new series which feels so playful and free.
New paintings of winter of 2024 works on charred panel with oil paint stick and spray paint acrylic markers and oil stick on raw canvas.
Been busy in the outdoor studio till it gets too cold to work out there. Here’s some works in progress.
Here’s some daily drawings that I’ve been doing lately. The drawing is helping me work on new paintings.its nice getting back into drawing and just letting my hand go and my mind wander. It’s become a daily meditation practice for me.
Paintings made these past week with mixed media collaging and drawing on panel with paint and markers and crayons
What I’ve been doing for the past few months
Back In the studio …. Painting away from the internet…. Staying off social media. I’m here now at a library using wifi to post this. Life gives us challenges and we must overcome it. I realized that the internet is just an endless dark hole of toxicity and negativity. It’s hard to find the light in it. I wish the internet was never invented. I had to turn off my phone. I will no longer use it as it’s become my worst addiction. I need my art and passions in my life to be my only addictions. I’m breaking the cycle. I’m going to pretend I’m in that off grid cabin that I see myself headed to. Nothing of value has been made after the 90s. We need to get off our phones and head into the unknown. Which is exciting and terrifying…. Let’s go on this adventure together and see what we make. People just overwhelm me… I like viewing them from a distance. I rather observe nature while I’m still here. Humans are a constant disappointment, love seems to be the reason for everything I do. This painting is. Called “ eye 👁️ see you slithering snakes 🐍 on the internet “ May 2024

Imagine that …. We share birthdays Che! I was also born June 14… the year was 1977… hope I can make a difference in the world like he did. The next art revolution will not be televised!!
2024 is about chasing those dreams and making them a reality ! I want to spread my talents and creativity this year. I plan to live the rest of my life as a full time artist … I got one ☝️ shot … this is it !!
