planning travel in april though so maybe new stories will happen!!!! or maybe not but regardless im not even apathetic at all in fact im actually stoked on life contrary to how my face looks

possibly controversial thought: not littering has nothing to do with being environmentally friendly, because the environment is hurt by the trash’s existence, not where on the earth we put it. not littering is mainly just a socially congruent act, not an environmentally conscious one.

not even controversial literally just truth the only way to be environmentally friendly is to avoid consuming things that produce trash in the first place. Like takeout containers? will remain on earth longer than humans will? and yet people are still so happy to use em all the damn time and oh theres so much wrong with the way our world works whew

why didn’t we go to the Museum? because this street market caught my eye and i begged the day’s navigation captain (ari) to let us stroll for a while. We strolled, i was happy and the sun was shining. my dream is to cover my walls at home in pictures and posters and beautiful things, but the whole transporting back to canada problem became very real as i walked through the colourful booths. I guess that just means i can come back. Who knows, maybe it’ll be an apartment in Berlin that i’ll be buying prints for in the end..!

Neither of us are ever allowed to go to the Pergamon museum without the other. If we don’t go together, we don’t go at all.

Berlin is honestly one of my favourite cities that ive ever visitited, and at this point in m life and in my exchange i can safely say that that’s quite a few cities. The city somehow always lively, no matter where you are. It’s friendly without becoming famillliar, and it’s so international that i would dare to call it a completely different type of germany. In Berlin, german is almost like the second language instead of the first. Astounding, right?

the waitress was pretty surprised with our order.

the sony centre did not dissapoint. actually, it astounded me and i would reccoment seeing the centre by night to anyone in berlin. Sure, there’s not much to do but stroll around unless you’ve got money to spend, but i swear it’s worth the Umweg

Sony Centre was cool as heck. we ate food and shopped and drank and it was lovely

der Brandenburger tor ist immer noch nachts schön, aber dieses mal nicht so schick beleuchtet wie auf europa tour. ich bin eigentlich nicht mehr sicher welche tag wir das bild gemacht haben.. aber das ist eig egal aha. Berlin ist auf jeden Fall eine schöne Stad, egal wie spät es wird
