While so many people in Hollywood are so self-obsessed, I would rather spend my time reading fascinating books.

Andreasaur x Makeup Game Strong
My BFF, Chab, and I both love makeup, but Chab loves it so much that she finally decided to make her own beauty blog some time last year. Since she made one, she asked me right away if I could make a header for her theme.
I told her I'd only make one after a week or two into her blog, so I know she's really serious about it. But of course, school got in the way and the makeup game wasn't so strong.
Now that we're on Christmas break, Chab has been starting to post more often, and I agreed to finally make that header.

"Octopi"
Hong Kong 2013
I get extremely lazy to post photos from travels on Facebook, so I thought they would be better off here (Although, I did upload an entire album of this trip on my Facebook account... But not the other recent travels anyway, but I decided to just include this one, too & the other travels will follow)
I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times before, but never with my grandparents (dad's parents) (and an SLR!), so it was nice to have them with us. Although I would kind of feel bad for them whenever we had to take the trains to far places, since they would get tired from all that walking.
I can make logos?
About a week after I posted on Instagram that I made myself a logo for my portfolio for a design class, one of my friends asked if I could make one for his sister’s company/business/one of those for a fee, and I was like
I always make posters, magazines & brochures for school or family, but never really had a 'client' huehuehue.
Now since it was Christmas and all, yesterday was the only time I was able to computerize all the initial sketches I’d done.
I finally finished at around 7PM and today, I woke up to the best news—she actually liked two out of the three that I made! I thought of posting the logos, but I don’t think I should for now. Does this make me a freelance graphic designer now?! HAHA just kidding. I wish though… (But hey, if anyone wants a logo or poster design, I gotcha)
P.S. Not for free guys pls I’m tryna be professional here HAHA
OPI In the Cable Car-Pool Lane (San Francisco Collection)
More of a plum indoors; still one of my favorite shades
Since OPI in Rustan’s is hella expensive & not as updated, I get my OPIs (and Essies) at Polish Please!, an awesome site to get imported nail polish (not to mention the only one I know of, lol).
I always hear good things about American Eagle Outfitters from a lot of the beauty/fashion YouTubers that I subscribe to, especially how excited they get whenever AEO goes on sale because their jeans are supposedly really good quality.
AEO opened in Alabang Town Center a few days before Christmas, and about a week ago, when I saw that they had a clearance sale with up to 60% off in savings, I went in to look for some gifts. If you’ve ever been in AEO, you probably know that their items are on the pricey side. At that time, I only saw a sweater that I really wanted, but thought that gift shopping for others would be my priority first, so I didn’t get to pick it up.
Yesterday, though, I passed by their branch in Bonifacio High Street, and saw that they had a lot more items on sale (probably ‘cause it’s their pioneer branch, so they have more stuff there), but a lot of the sizes were too big for me. Luckily, I found a pair of denim shorts that were over 60% off, so I didn’t think twice and got it right away. They didn’t have the sweater I was eyeing in Town the week before, so after High Street, we headed to Town to get it.
I guess P1,345 is still a bit much for a sweater, but I just can’t get enough of the cable knit sweater print—plus, I love how soft the material is.
I finally have another pair of distressed denim shorts! Actually, I’m just glad to have new denim shorts. Ever since I’ve shed off some weight two summers ago, I’ve been stuck with my favorite pairs of denim shorts that I just cannot replace no matter how lose they are.
I was going to call this post a “haul,” but then I realized how stupid it looks to have a haul with only two items. But now, at least I was able to think of a new segment on this blog. So all in all, I was able to save P2,308 ($52.02), which is totally crazy & amazing if you think about it. Crossing my fingers to score a pair of AEO jeans the next time they go on sale!
Twenty Fourteen
Another new year--my twentieth new year, to be exact. And in preparation of the new year, I've finally decided to use this blog as an actual blog.
Many times in 2013, I'd get the sudden urge to start an entirely new blog, then give up one-fourth of the way through (a.k.a. thinking of the perfect username). So, I figured that I'd just stick with what I've got instead. Also, I've decided to delete all my old posts & reblogs to start fresh.
...okay, I lied. I've kept four original posts that I couldn't let go of. Just look at those insane note counts! It's probably the highest form of internet fame that I'm ever going to get (half kidding).
Too excited to fill this Tumblr with ideas, artwork, photos, makeup & hauls! Too excited for this year, in general. 2014 will be so much better, I can feel it.
Like my pimped out highlighter?
