Can we get a kist of things you're too big for? (for research purposes of course)
Of course š
Iāll try not to forget anythingā¦
Certain cars - I donāt drive so I uber occasionally and havenāt always been to buckle myself in because of my belly. And sometimes my head hits the roof because I sit so high (thanks to my fat ass)
Booths - ok so not all but there are a few venues in my city that have booths which I avoid like the plague because I cannot fit in the seats comfortably.
Cinema seats - multiplex VIP seats are ok (for now) but the more traditional type of seat is a major struggle. I spill out onto the arm rests.
Any chair with arm rests - Iām wide and any chair with arm rests is a nightmare. Uncomfortable to get in and out of, my love handles spilling over the sides and when I try to stand up the chair comes with me.
Bus/train seating - I do not fit on just one seat. Itās not two entire seats yet. But no one tries to sit next to me because theyād have half a seat and some heavy breathing fatty spilling onto them. If itās an older bus, my legs donāt fit comfortably behind the seats either. I guess the size of my ass pushes me forward.
Bar stools - I hate these with a passion. I have short, fat legs and a big ass. I can never get on these in a dignified manner. And when I finally do theyāre so uncomfortable.
The bathroom at my work - itās a small cubicle with a sink. I have to go in sideways and even then I feel like a caver squeezing between tunnels.
Regular clothes sizing/brick and mortar stores - the smallest Iāve ever been as an adult is 259lbs and even then I wore XXL and could just barely fit in the biggest clothes shops have to offer. I like āvintageā clothes and rarely did I find anything that fit. But now I donāt even entertain the notion. I wear a 50ā waist and 5XL shirts, I stick to online shopping now.
Standard blood pressure cuffs - they have to get the big ones whenever Iām at the doctor, or measure it on my forearm
Ladders - most of them have a weight limit that I exceed by around 50/100lbs. Itās the same with almost every chair too but ladders are scarier
Some showers - I lived in student accommodation while at uni and the bathroom in one of them had a shower door that only opened so wide. For a year I was going in sideways, sucking in my belly as hard as I could, and still scraping against the door.
Standard 60ā tape measures - my belly, even standing, is over 60ās now.
Supermarkets - ok this isnāt a physical thing Iām too big for. But I stopped going to supermarkets, instead getting my groceries delivered. I donāt drive so I used to have to walk there and back, with lots of walking in the middle. It was a painful, tiring experience that I hated. The joy of finding new delicious things wasnāt worth the exercise frankly.
Belts - very uncomfortable if you have a big belly. I stopped wearing them over a year ago in favour of suspenders/braces.
Ok Iām tapping out. Iām sure thereās more, maybe Iāll edit the post if I think of them.
