This scene right here is so important
Just ,,, the way Vivi is telling Luffy that he is wrong. That the way he is leading is not how he can always lead. Fighting doesn’t solve everything and in situations like this, as a captain, Luffy needs to think. And, what’s truly gorgeous about this scene is that Luffy takes the time and reflects on Vivi’s words. He doesn’t get angry. He doesn’t question her. He thinks ab how his actions may hurt his crew and understands what Vivi is trying to say
And without hesitation, he apologizes and admits to his mistake. Not to mention, he is asking for help despite being against these people just a second ago. He reflects on his faults and learns from them. Vivi is such an essential character in Luffy’s growth and this is a key moment. This is a huge moment for Luffy as a captain
I panic when my feelings are not clear. It is like staring into a muddy pond, and rather than wait until an ecosystem develops to clear the water, I prefer to drain the pond.
