Happy Monday! (I say that all the time, but people tell me that "happy mondays" don't exist xD) ⠀ I hope you all had a great weekend. I certainly did! ⠀ I'm so lame. For @CeltyFarron and I, a fun Saturday was us running errands together xD.
I have been very lazy for several years. There was a time several years ago when I would come home from school and workout every weekday (Mon-Fri). ⠀ I had a bench in my back yard, weights, and I would go running. ⠀ I remember that it started raining for a few weeks so I couldn't really go outside to workout. ⠀ Eventually, the rain faded away but I didn't ever get back into working out LOL. ⠀ Starting yesterday, @CeltyFarron and I started going to the gym again. Wish us luck LOL
Here is a throwback to the Sub premiere of SAO's movie Ordinal Scale! ⠀ Cosplay life has been fun and hectic the past several months! ⠀ It feels like it has been non-stop. I have been doing a combination of going to Cons (both local and of course Sakura Con), working while at some of the cons, recording and editing videos, doing photoshoots, working at SAO Movie Premieres, etc. ⠀ All of that plus a 40 hour per week job, and I love it! Staying busy is always better than being bored IMO. ⠀ Though despite that, it is kind of nice for things to be temporarily slowing down until AX. ⠀ I still have some Cosplay "chores" to do like washing wigs and cosplays and such, it seems I have a couple months of "down time" for rest! ⠀ Lately, I've been dedicating most of time towards working on a home media/file server and a backup server (FreeBSD on the Media/File Server and Raspbian Linux on a Raspberry Pi backup server) and it's been fun and frustrating! ⠀ Soon, I'll make some time to get back on the PS4 and play some SAO games. ⠀ I'm also SUPER behind on editing videos! ⠀ I am currently working on 3 Vlog/Wrap Up videos! 1.) Bak Anime 2.) Sakura Con 3.) SAO Dub Premiere ⠀ I have even more video ideas in the works... ⠀ (Kudos to whoever read all of that xD)
Tomorrow is the day! I am proud to announce that my friends and I will be the Official Cosplayers again for the LA Premiere for the Dubbed version of SAO's movie, Ordinal Scale! You'll find my friends and I there along with most of the English Voice Actor cast as well! I don't know about all of you, but I am really excited to see the movie dubbed (I have already watched it twice subbed xD) as well as the Q&A afterwards!
I am back! ⠀ For those of you that didn't know - I spend last weekend at Sakura Con! ⠀ I took work off and flew from LAX to Seattle Washington with @CeltyFarron, @IceMakeCosplay, and @AgentHysteria. ⠀ All of us roomed with my friend in Seattle @ryu_ciferri and we had a great time! ⠀ I'll talk more about my experience in detail in the Wrap Up Video I am making, but here's a quick summary: ⠀ - I worked at the Crunchy Roll booth for the first time as one of the Official Cosplayers - Got to meet hundreds of anime fans at the Booth and chatted about anything and everything - Didn't get much sleep at all but had a ton of fun! - Got yelled at by a Volunteer in front of a lot people because we hadn't gotten peace bonded yet (then tried to play it off nice when people weren't around anymore?) -Almost wrongfully got my badge taken away because a Volunteer Staff accused us of something we didn't do (Submitted a complaint email to Sakura Con staff about this) - Got to see so many friends that I haven't seen in a year - A lady at the airport thought @IceMakeCosplay and I were a couple since I still had cosplay makeup on and he had a fabulous scarf ⠀ And now I miss Seattle! ⠀ Despite a few rough patches, I have to say that last weekend was awesome. ⠀ Even though I loved Sakura Con and want to go back next year, I MIGHT try out Anime Boston instead!
Here is a photo of @CeltyFarron, @Atashi00, and I on the red carpet with Kawahara and the rest of the Japanese creative team behind SAO Ordinal Scale! ⠀ It is still so hard to believe that this event happened and that my friends and I got to be the official cosplayers for the event. If it weren't for these photos, I may as well believe that it was all just a dream xD.
Finally announcing my Cosplay Lineup! ⠀ Day 1 and Day 3 are of course no surprise xD. ⠀ Anyways, come find me at the Crunchy Roll Booth at any of these times: - Day 1: 10am-2pm - Day 2: 2pm-6pm - Day 3: 2pm-6pm ⠀ When I am not working at the booth, I will likely be either eating, at a panel, or wandering around. ⠀ Hope to see you all there!

Sakura Con, in Seattle Washington, is just around the corner! ⠀ The convention looks so amazing! @celtyfarron and I will be working at the Crunchy Roll booth at this convention for the first time! ⠀ I'll post more details on that later so that you guys can come visit us 😁. ⠀ On top of that, holy crap the schedule is crazy for us... ⠀ There are so many great guests and panels at this con that we had to start prioritizing which stuff we REALLY had to do versus what we had to leave out 😭. ⠀ I'll be posting my cosplay lineup soon! ⠀ I will be bringing back this Aincrad Kirito cosplay! I have been really loving it a lot lately since seeing it in Ordinal Scale again! ⠀ I also have 1 non-Kirito cosplay that I will be debuting at Sakura Con. Now I just wonder if anyone can guess what it is 😉
"Happy Wife = Happy life." ⠀ So keep her happy and this won't happen to you LOL. ⠀ Whenever a photographer suggests to @CeltyFarron "Why don't you step on his back!" ⠀ You may think her reaction is to politely decline, but she's always ready to step on my back in a photo LOL 😂. (I still love her, though ❤️💍) ⠀ Her Asuna cosplay will always be my favorite since she portrays her so well (and obvious BIAS)! ⠀ Asuna as a character is super well-written, imo. She has multiple dimensions to her personality. ⠀ I really love the growth of Asuna's character. ⠀ She's got a physically tough side (shown in Aincrad), a strong resolve (shown in ALO), a selfless and strong heart (shown in Mother's Rosario), and so much more! ⠀ This picture demonstrate's Asuna's "fierce" side xD.
I am still not over how great the SAO Ordinal Scale Red Carpet Premiere in Hollywood was! ⠀ Here you can see @stellachuuuuu , @celtyfarron, Atashi, and I having our photos taken on the red carpet! ⠀ I think these photos really capture how much genuine fun we were having while up there! ⠀ Now I really can't wait for the Dub Premiere in Beverly Hills!

Light novel readers, this one is for you! ⠀ Here is a photo from my Alicization/Underworld photoshoot! ⠀ It has already pretty much been confirmed that SAO's third season will be based off of the Alicization Arc in the Light Novels. ⠀ The thing is, the arc is SUPER long, so I am personally hoping that it is split into 2 seasons! ⠀ So hopefully this arc becomes both Season 3 and 4 😁. ⠀ A lot of you guys on here have read all of the light novels (that are currently translated) but I have honestly have only read Volume 09 and part of Volume 10 of the novels... so I have some catching up to do! ⠀ I used to want to be caught up on the novels, but since I take forever to read, I think that I will just wait for the anime and be surprised by it 😂. ⠀ I think that watching the Anime is my favorite way of enjoying SAO. I watched it Subbed first and then Dubbed and then fell in love with its dubbed version. ⠀ Also, my friend @kyndellfire got me some of the SAO Progressive Mangas, so I think I've enjoyed at least a little of every flavor of SAO!
Who had a PSN and plays any SAO game? I'm new to this 👍
So for the past several months, I haven't been able to sleep a full 8 hours straight. I would always wake up at some point but then go back to sleep. ⠀ I think I was still sleeping a total of 8-9 hours per night but waking up 2-3 times. ⠀ I finally slept a full 8.5 hours straight last night for the first time in several months! ⠀ I'm not sure if it was because I was super tired or if it's because I've just been thinking about SAO Hollow Fragment all the time LOL. ⠀ I'm thinking the stress of work and life are what keeps me up but having a video game to take me out of the "real world" for a bit is really nice!
