Introduction

I saw a good few of my coworkers are here, so I’m joining too.

My name is Andrios Vlahos. I’m a paediatric nurse at PPTH. There’s not much else to say.

I also have a snake. His name is Jacob. Jacob is an incredible name for a snake, no matter what any neurologist thinks. Other than Jacob, more recently I’ve adopted 3 cats (Snap, Crackle, and Pop) and a dog (Nesquick).

i’m a minor, i don’t mind who interacts with me as long as you aren’t weird but ik some people don’t like interacting with minors so yeah.

has a cosmetology license and is a board-certified surgeon he just ended up not liking those two career paths

gonna end up making him become non binary (he’s in the discovery phases)

HATES cosmetic surgery but particularly where is to look younger. like if you want to dye your hair or whatnot go for it but going under the knife to look younger is a completely different thing

a little bit stupid but also like genius level at the same time. like he can’t do a jigsaw puzzle but he holds the record for most rubix cubes solved while making a batch of macarons or smth

allergic to blueberries

birthday is september 27 bc that’s the day i made this acc

he graduated basically everything super early but he will never ever ever say it

he’s like 190cm or smth idk. don’t ask me what that is in american

has many tattoos but none on his arms bc he needs them to be hidden by scrubs. but like his back is more tattoo than skin at this point trust me. part of the reason he has this many tattoos is bc he has friends who are now professional tattoo artists but they were not originally tattoo artists and they needed to practice. (i see my future and it is bright)

is greek (like me!) and can speak greek (unfortunately not like me :( i’ll learn eventually though)

has a non binary sibling and also a brother, big age gaps on both side and he’s the middle child (23, 34, 52). and the older brother is dead.

has custody of his teenage niece

he is big on multitasking

uses crutches (for now)

But I do have a favor of sorts to call in with my boss, so if you think she’ll be able to handle the daily abuses of the public, I’m glad to give it a try and I can probably get her in. She doesn’t need to talk as long as she can listen

It’s going rather well thank you, bit stressful but once it’s over I’ll finally be back to work. How are things with you and Daisy, you know you can always call me if you need something right?

Let me know if there’s anything I can help with. Daisy is… better, but still not talking. Now I think of it, you have a mute niece too, right?

I’m glad she’s doing a bit better, and yes my niece Rosalie is mute, though the circumstances are rather different and she is quite a few years younger than Daisy is.

Still, how do you… for lack of a better term, deal with her? Daisy’s using communication cards now, but that doesn’t seem like it’ll work when she goes back to school.

Rosie uses sign language mostly, she has an aid at school, I would recommend discussing things with Daisy’s school teachers and perhaps having a small white board or notepad for Daisy if you don’t already. There won’t really be a straightforward way to deal with things like this, I recommend being patient and willing to try things, it will take a while but hopefully you’ll settle into a something that works well for both of you.
