hi hello first post. intro post? whatever. i saw some dps rp blogs and thought it looked like fun so i thought i'd try it out! i'm very new to this so bear with me 😭

this whole thing is sort of an au where neil is still alive/the attempt failed,, might expand on that a little more at some point it's still in the works. posts here might revolve somewhat around that and will also be very anderperry-centric because i love them dearly

also sort of a modern au i guess?? i mean obviously they didn't have tumblr in the 1950s-60s so. do with that what you will

any ooc posts will be marked similar to this one by the little //ooc tag at the top there! any posts not marked as ooc are in character.

almost done with my finals. pray that my trigonometry teacher doesn't execute me in front of the class because there's no way i'm passing that fucking exam. he is NOT happy with me

my chicken was pink on the inside the other night. PINK. they're gonna give the entire school salmonella at some point.

and whatever stew.. soup... mystery slop.... they served last night made me so nauseous i couldn't sleep. it was BAD

i am half convinced that awful sickness i had a while back was salmonella! my god, the steak is still moo-ing!

all the meat they serve is either practically raw or burnt to a crisp, no in between. for such a prestigious school i'd assume they could afford to hire better cooks...

considering how much tuition is, for sure. even with my scholarships it’s insanity!

my parents just LOVE to complain about how much they paid to send me here whenever my grades slip. i'll let them know that they're wasting their money because all they feed us here is inedible slop and that's why i can't keep my trig grade up

you're good at trig, though. i'm not too great at it and that's why i'm not a fan 😅 that and i prefer the reading and writing side of things rather than the numbers. i'm glad you like it though, you're awfully helpful during study groups ,:)

thank you!! oranges are good. i really like fruit. the school doesn't provide it very often, though. and when they do, it's practically inedible, like most of the food here.

you gotta play around with your words a little bit. sometimes it'll sound right and sometimes it won't, it's sort of just a matter of tweaking it until you come up with something you like

having a specific topic in mind while you're writing can help, too. it can be literally anything, whether it's simple or more complex.

be creative, too! everyone interprets things differently, it doesn't always have to make sense to other people. as long as it makes sense to you and you're proud of what you wrote, that's all that matters :)

i've honestly considered it before. if i could get over my very intense fear of talking in front of people, i think teaching would be a pretty good job for me. i'd love to inspire people the way i've been inspired by some of my teachers (cough cough mr. keating), getting to really connect with students and give them a new outlook on life like that would be really special. i could definitely see that as a possibility!
