If there was one thing that Lucille (formerly Louis) Beaulieu hated about being expelled from Welton academy, it was that her and her sisters had made friends over there (well, Henry was probably more than a friend to Prim) now that they’ve gotten expelled thanks to some peanut bars, Lucille had resorted to using the telephone that Victoria had installed in her room so she could call Scottie.

After a few rings, the phone finally picked up, and Scottie’s voice was on the other end of the line. He knew who it was. Lucille always called around this time.

“Lucy?”

“Scottie!” Lucille’s face brightened up at the sound of her boyfriend’s voice. “How’s Welton treating you and the others? Oh, I missed you guys!”

"I miss you too! Welton sucks without you guys." Scottie's voice grew quiet with his next words, more vulnerable. "It especially sucks without you.."

Lucille sighed, she missed him too.

“How are the others?” She asked softly. “Is everyone else getting by after it turns out that surprise!” She said in a mock surprised voice. “We don’t have penises! That’s what Prim always says.”

Scottie snickered on the other end of the line. "Everyone's alright. That Todd kid that Matilda was friends with is actually coming out of his shell quite a bit. Somehow, everyone's moved past that whole thing pretty quick. Though, Nolan's now implementing rigorous background checks on any student that enters Welton now. As if that's necessary. I think its stupid, honestly."

“I expected everyone to talk about it until summer honestly.” Lucille said. “And how are you and the other greasers doing without Prim? Or Todd without Matilda or the Dead Poets without Madeleine, or…Neil without Leonora?”

“We’re agonizingly bored without her, but Eddie and Jasper are making up for her absence in terms of troublemaking,” Scottie chuckled, leaning back slightly on the common room sofa he was sitting on. “It’s a wonder they haven’t been caught, or expelled. Like I said earlier, Todd’s actually really coming into his own. Talking more in class, actually standing up for himself, so he’s doing just fine without Matilda. Madeleine would be proud. All of you would be.”

He adjusted his position on the couch, seemingly unable to sit still for the life of him. “Speaking of Madeleine, the Dead Poets meetings, according to Eddie at least, have actually been happening less and less since you guys got expelled. I guess they’re trying to fly below Nolan’s radar now that he’s got his eyes trained on everyone like a hawk more than ever lately.”

Scottie grew quiet for a moment. “Neil’s not doing too good, Lucy. I’ll be honest with you. We seriously thought he wasn’t gonna make it after you guys left..” His tone grew lighter. “But, on the bright side, him and Todd are getting closer. Only good things from there, right?”

“Oh heck yes!” Prim shouted. She had waltzed into Lucille’s room to ask her if they could get ice cream but then she got distracted upon hearing Scottie’s voice. Prim leaned against Lucille’s shoulder and her sister rolled her eyes in fond exasperation before leaning the receiver towards her. “Hey, hey, hey, Scottie!” She greeted her friend enthusiastically.

Scottie grinned at the sound of Prim’s voice. “Hey, Prim! The gang is missing you a ton.” He lowered his voice conspiratorially. “Especially Eddie. But he’d kill me if I told you, so you didn’t hear that from me.”

“And what about Henry? Did he get the chocolates I sent him last month?” Prim asked. Lucille turned to look at her sister in confusion, Prim hardly ever talked about the Clark boy and the rest of the Beaulieu sisters figured that something must have happened between the two.

at the same time, though, no school means going home to my parents. they are not too fond of me. ,:)

and i have to leave my friends. and my boyfriend. this is so awful. i better see them over break because if not i'm gonna lose my mind.

at least i won't have to do any more trigonometry though. i got a 50% on my last trig test. FIFTY PERCENT. OUT OF ONE HUNDRED. i swear math is its own language and i do not speak it

Finally! It is official!

A ball will be held after the winter break, in Christina Rossetti All Girl's Academy, open for the students of Welton and Ridgeway too. Same sex couples are 100% allowed and so are polygamous relationships and coming alone. You do not have to be scared of getting judged, our school is very accepting.

It will open at 6PM and end at 11PM. Anyone can arrive and leave anytime they please. Free food and drinks will be provided.

I hope I'll meet some new people there! Everyone can bring a + 1 who doesn't go to any of the three schools listed above.

i've spent SO much money on christmas presents for all my friends. i've never really had anyone to buy presents for (because let's be real my parents are getting the bare minimum, they're awful and they never get me anything anyways) so i'm going all out on the people who actually care about me this year
