Lazy Days || Andy & Angie
{angieinlondon}
It had turned into one of those day -- Andy had extended the invitation thinking it was a great idea, but once they were all there, he was suddenly questioning why he’d done such a thing. The house was big enough, that was for sure, he could have easily fit both his and Angie’s family in again, but he hadn't realised quite how chaotic it would get. Not that it mattered, if anything, he was thankful of the company. It was something he hadn’t had all that much of lately, at least, not outside of work and everything that kind hand in hand with it. For several moments, though, he watched the kids running around the garden, and then laughed and said, “Least there’s plenty of space for them, I guess... That’s got to be a good thing.”
Glancing over in Angie’s direction, he shook his head, and then added, “Thanks for coming. I was getting really sick of only seeing my editors and my children. Seem to be the only people I’ve conversed with over the last month. Not the greatest combination, deadlines and Disney Princesses... for Tilly, obviously, not Arthur -- although he has his moments.” Moving back towards the kitchen door, he let a breath go, and then questioned with a smile, “Drink?”
