Today is one of the hardest days of my life. After going to the hospital and completing many examinations and tests, we received devastating news: my husband Ahmed has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors told us that this may have been caused by the war, the constant smell of gunpowder, and the rockets that filled the air around us.
